We want to gauge interest in a rewatch club (thank you u/margaritaskeeter!). We would 1) pick a franchise (leaning towards Melbourne to start, provided everyone has access to watch) then 2) pick a rewatch rhythm (I'm thinking maybe an episode thread every other day on the days when there are no new episodes of currently airing franchises, or we can do two episodes at once if people prefer). Then I would create episode discussion threads for each Melbourne episode (or two) at the pre-determined rhythm and people could chime in at their own pace. Once we finish Melbourne if people are enjoying it we could move onto something else. If people like this idea we can start this weekend, maybe try doing the first two episodes on Friday/Saturday and see how it goes? Feel free to chime in in the comments if this is something you would be interested in/if you have feedback about how you'd want it to work.
"Braunwyn Windham-Burke is giving Us Weekly exclusive insight into her modern marriage to Sean Burke. The Real Housewives of Orange County star got candid about seeing someone “special” — who isn’t her husband of two decades.
“There’s someone in my life right now that makes me happy and I smile just thinking about, but I kinda want to protect it right now,” the 42-year-old Bravo star exclusively told Us. “I’m not quite ready to put it all out there, everyone in my life that knows me knows what’s happening. I don’t think I’ve smiled so much. It’s good. I know if you look at social media, it seems really like crazy, but things are really good in our house right now.”
RHOC viewers questioned Braunwyn and Sean’s status last month after she promoted a Zoom seminar about coparenting and divorce. While she later revealed that the pair, who wed in 2000, are living in separate homes, Braunwyn told Us that the twosome have no plans to divorce.
“I’m not going to worry about the future until it happens. I love Sean. Sean loves me. We have every intention of staying together,” she explained to Us. “We are very honest in our communication. There are just some things that I have discovered about myself that I wanna explore a little more and he’s very supportive. He understands and, you know, I am living a very authentic life right now and I’ve never given myself permission to do that. … I’m 42 and there are just parts of me that … I pushed down and now I’m allowing myself to live authentically.”
Braunwyn added that the twosome have “every intention” of “growing old” and raising their seven kids — Bella, 20, Rowan, 18, Jacob, 15, 7-year-old twins Caden and Curren, Koa, 5, and Hazel, 2 — together.
“There’s just a lot of stuff going on in our lives and it’s better for us to not live in the same house right now,” she said. “And to give you some space, we’re both working ourselves, we’re both in therapy. I want to be the best version of myself, so does he, we have been together 26 years. We’re not throwing that away. You know, we are family. He’s my best friend.”
Braunwyn added that the spouses are “living in two homes — we want to stay married.”
She concluded, “Is this forever? I doubt it. I mean, my gut says no, but I’m going to live today today. And I’ll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.”
Braunwyn and Sean previously opened up about their unconventional relationship on season 14 of RHOC, revealing they briefly separated in the past and started having threesomes when he turned 35."
"Dorinda Medley is saying goodbye to her apartment in New York City's Sutton Place neighborhood. In an Instagram Story video on October 19, The Real Housewives of New York City alum expressed her excitement as movers packed up the apartment into the dozens of boxes placed around her living room and kitchen. As she looked around the space, Dorinda exclaimed, "It's happening!"
Prior to being packed by the Simply Moving team (Ramona Singer is also a fan of the company), the apartment was filled with furniture and décor that reflected Dorinda's personal style. “I think the thing that I like about my apartment is it’s very eclectic,” Dorinda told BravoTV.com in the video above. “I know everybody’s into this white on white on white on white, but I think your apartment should represent you and it should be a mix of high and low and people should be able to come to your apartment and know you a little better.”
For Dorinda, that meant furnishing the apartment with plenty of pink items including multiple couches and bar stools. “Now that Hannah doesn’t live with me and I don’t have husbands living with me, and it’s just little ol’ me, I’m going pink,” she said at the time. “I love the pink couches, I mean these things are amazing!”
"A four-year-long divorce battle has ended.
Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Julianne “Jules” Wainstein, 39, and her estranged husband, Michael Wainstein, finalized their divorce on Monday, Page Six has confirmed.
“My client is happy to close this chapter of his life and is looking forward to moving on,” Michael’s attorney, Morghan Richardson, told Page Six in a statement on Tuesday.
Jules’ attorney didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The former couple will, however, still be battling out child custody issues in Florida.
Earlier this year, Jules was arrested in Boca Raton, Fla., after allegedly punching Michael in the face in front of their children, son Jagger and daughter Rio. An insider told Page Six at the time that Jules may have been intoxicated during the incident, in which she licked Michael’s car window and struck the vehicle with a baseball bat.
Following that altercation, Michael requested Jules submit to drug testing.
Michael first filed for divorce from Jules in May 2016, and the two have been locked in various stages of legal wrangling ever since.
The Modern Alkeme founder claimed Michael cheated on her, though he vehemently denied those charges. Their bitter legal battle has since included unpaid child support and police involvement.
Jules starred on Season 8 of Bravo’s “RHONY,” which aired in 2016."
"How many Fs does Erika Girardi give now?
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 49, came under fire on social media beginning on Tuesday after she posted a meme of herself, Robyn Dixon and Lisa Rinna all sporting the same pink dress, comparing themselves to the Pink Ladies in “Grease.”
While Rinna, 57, and Dixon, 41, shared their love for the meme on Giardi’s page, the fan account that first posted the images wasn’t happy Giardi didn’t give them credit.
“Hey. That’s my photo! Can you credit me Please?” Brands by Bravo asked in the comments section of the post.
Girardi responded, “Actually it’s not your photo. It’s Bravo and Paramount photo but ok. Cute meme though.”
“I know that but the meme and the caption were my idea,” the account pleaded. “I’m a huge fan of yours and nearly passed out when I saw you posted my meme. I just wanted credit for it. And in my post, I credited Bravo for the photo. Thanks!”
Still, Girardi wasn’t budging.
“The way to get more ‘credit’ for your ‘ideas’ is to come up with your own and stop leaving comments on my page about how you feel wronged,” she responded. “These images do not belong to you. Now go make some interesting s–t that I can promote.”
Girardi added that her co-star, Kyle Richards, took the photo of her in the original post.
Fans were quick to snap back at the “How Many F–ks” singer.
“I can’t believe how she is behaving,” one commented. “Honestly, there was always something about her that put me off, but I wanted to like her. Oh well. I think she lost a lot of fans over this.”
Another referenced her husband, famed lawyer Thomas Girardi: “I think you need Tom to give you a lesson on intellectual property. This isn’t yours.”
“Girl really???” a third user wrote. “You don’t know how memes and instagram works all of the sudden?? When someone edits a photo and puts their time into it, and then you repost it without credit…it’s messed up. And then you gave the audacity to be rude in return? Lmao ok girl keep digging yourself into a hole it seems to be working out great so far.”
However, Brands By Bravo seems to be taking the controversy in stride and posted a meme of Girardi’s former co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, addressing the drama — this time, with a watermark.
A rep for Girardi declined to comment."
"ABC producers are reportedly on the hunt for cast members to join the upcoming 30th season of "Dancing With the Stars." However, when it comes to who will potentially join, Tyra Banks is allegedly banning cast members from the "Real Housewives" from appearing.
“Tyra is the new boss and made it clear that she didn’t want any more 'Housewives' in her ballroom," an insider told OK! Magazine on October 19. "She thinks the show needs to aim higher and only book the ladies after everyone else has passed."
While a number of ladies from the Bravo franchise have said they'd like to appear on the upcoming season, Tyra is against the idea.
“Tyra has never been a fan of the 'Housewives,' but the real reason she doesn’t want them on her show is that Bethenny Frankel, NeNe Leakes, and Teresa Giudice do not make headlines anymore,” the insider added. “Tyra wants reality stars like Carole Baskin from 'Tiger King' — not a decade-old franchise that no one talks about anymore.
"We’ve all been doing a bit more online shopping than normal during quarantine this year, and Ashley Darby is no different.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star recently appeared on In The Know’s “We Should Talk” series, where she opened up about all things season 5 of the Bravo hit and, while we had her, we made sure to ask about some of her recent purchases.
Last thing you bought on Amazon:
“The last thing I bought on Amazon was an air purifier for [my son,] Dean. I’m a little bit obsessive these days, so I bought a hospital-grade air purifier.”
Last thing you bought off of Instagram:
“Unfortunately, I had to learn my lesson the hard way. I went to buy a shirt where you can put the baby inside of the shirt when they’re a newborn, but, first, it took two months to come, which should’ve been an indicator, and then it was so saggy and the baby basically fell out when I put him in. So, I learned my lesson, but that doesn’t mean I don’t peruse. The last thing I looked at seriously buying [off of Instagram] was a sauna bed sleeping bag that you can put on your bed, lay in and get a sauna experience.”
Last thing you bought that’s now part of your daily beauty routine:
“I recently bought a gua sha stone, which you can do a gua sha massage with. It helps drain your lymphatic system. It’s an ancient Chinese massage technique that helps your skin tighten and all that good stuff. I feel like it has [helped me], but I have pregnancy skin so I have a boost already. I think it has that helped me, though!”
Last book you bought:
“Actually, the last book I bought just recently was Monique’s potty training book!”
Last thing you bought that a co-star recommended to you:
“I bought something for someone: Gizelle had her 50th birthday recently, so I thought a good thing for her to do for her half-century birthday would be to go to the salt caves that Karen and I did, so I bought her a gift certificate for her to go have a spiritual cleansing at the salt cave.”
"Jackie Goldschneider found herself in the midst of another feud with Teresa Giudice and many of her co-stars while filming Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, however, a source close to the situation now tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that things have severely improved. “Teresa and Jackie made up recently,” our insider revealed.
Teresa and Jackie’s feud “took two conversations” to fully squash, and that’s because it was a big hurdle to get over. “They both said some things that they shouldn’t have, both of which were personal digs involving their families.” Our source went on to explain: “Jackie was initially upset because Teresa said [her husband] Evan [Goldschneider] was cheating on Jackie. Then, they got together to resolve that, but then, Jackie put gasoline on the fire by digging into Teresa and Teresa’s fiery personality took over and things between them got worse.”
That conversation led to Jackie skipping the cast’s Season 11 trip, which was widely reported in August, but then they got together again and “resolved everything.” Our source explained, “They both wronged each other. They both apologized and moved past it — they are now in a good place.”
Season 11 of RHONJ is still in production, and Dolores Catania‘s ex-husband, Frank, recently revealed that filming was extended because the drama between the ladies has been so good — drama including Teresa and Jackie’s feud. “This season will be the season of Jackie. At one point, she was only talking to Melissa [Gorga] because everyone else sided with Teresa and she felt it was ridiculous that they were choosing sides. However, Melissa continued to stay neutral and always had Jackie’s back.”
Production did “take a pause”, however, “as Jackie refused to film because she was so upset that the women would all side with Teresa over everything. She was over the drama of people always siding with Teresa no matter what and not having their own voice or opinion. Even Margaret [Josephs], who has always had [Jackie’s] back, strayed a bit and that upset Jackie, so she distanced herself and needed a break from filming.”
Our insider continued, “Now that the two ladies have made up, Jackie is so much more at ease.” Plus, “it’s really helped bring the group together now that Teresa and Jackie have made up again.”
RHONJ Season 11 is still in production, and Bravo has yet to reveal when the show will return with all-new episodes. However, HollywoodLife reached out to the network for a comment on this new development."

2020.10.03 08:49 AnonymousAngerHurtin Nurture vs Nature, Either way, I’m screwed

Long post. I’m in my head. Here is my life story. I doubt anyone who knows this story will read it, so if anyone texts me out of the blue, this will be why. Trigger warning: child molestation, abuse, parental abandonment, miscarriages, stillbirths, poverty, drugs, just all the bad things. Not for the faint.
It all starts back before I was born. My mom was married to different man and had my two half brothers. One night, the man comes home drunk and tries to kill my brothers. My mom stood in his way and took the beating, and she left after he passed out. A baby on each hip, no food or money, no way to get food or money, out into a cold Indiana night. She went to her POS mom, and she wouldn’t take her in as long as she had my brothers. She had no one else.
She made the decision to give them up for adoption, on the conditions that they were kept together and kept their names, not nicknames. They called her preacher for her, and he didn’t recognize her, that’s how badly bruised she was. People went after him and she was able to talk to him. My brothers were adopted by a rich couple on the other side of the country who sent her pictures every so often. They were given a nice life.
My mom never said so, but I’m fairly certain this is when she did drugs. She never talked about timeline, but if I had to guess this would had had to be it. She told me that the divorce judge punished her by making her keep the man’s last name. I wasn’t there, what do I know?
She met my father again, as they knew each other in middle school. They had my brother, and he got our dad’s last name. And then they had me. I’ve been told different things here, but my parents blamed his mom, saying that she told the nurse they weren’t married, and my dad was in another state getting a new job to provide for his growing family. I was given my mom’s ex husband’s last name, and “unknown -insert last name-“ is my father according to my birth certificate.
After everything my mom had been through, her eldest daughter got to be her living reminder of losing her sons and long time abuse. She never took it out on me. My dad didn’t treat me differently in my younger years. But I always felt different.
I had two younger sisters, and with the last one, they found my mom’s cervical cancer. She was 29. So she was suppose to have 11 children, had six, and only able to raise 4, abused in childhood, teenage years, and early adulthood, and then she was picked out of a hat to go through early menopause. Was she depressed? Duh. I would be too. I mean I am anyway, but I don’t know how she survived.
The house was always a mess. We lived with roaches, lice, bedbugs, spiders, and filth in trailer parks for the longest time. We had food, but not buffets. We had electricity, but budgets were stretched. Life was good.
Then tax man came and took my dad’s refund money out of his account for back taxes, no warning, and sent the five of us to go live with family up north. I was a daddy’s girl, and he told me I was his favorite. So much his favorite, I got to be the one he told that he was on the phone with the IRS with a gun to his temple. Great times. He got the money back, some extra for pain and suffering.
A couple years later, I’m 13. Honor student, apple of his eye. After school everyday he taught me about rocket science and atheism. Science, math, and atheism were his whole personality. He had actually pretended to be religious until my mom married him, and after that all he would do is fight with her over her religion and her depression, as if he couldn’t have known what he was getting himself into, and naive, little me was on his side.
My dad treated my mom like crap. He would yell at her and fight with her. She wasn’t allowed to work, or spend money, or go to church, and everything she did was wrong in his eyes. She was the great mistake of his life, not the other way around.
So I was thirteen and they pushed me to join Facebook so I could send them stuff for their farms. I quickly got friend requests from strange, older men. One stuck out from a middle eastern country, and he became my internet boyfriend. I wanted to be loved, and I was stupid. I told my parents about it. I didn’t keep secrets. They didn’t have a problem with it until they did.
They deleted my Facebook and I got in trouble out of the blue. I kept trying to talk to him, because I wanted the attention. Internet boy/man/predator and I sent dirty messages back and forth. Never pictures or anything worse.
I got in trouble again while my dad was at work. I didn’t know what to do. Fight or flight kicked in and I left with my flip flops in hand. I ran. Fast and far. I was gone maybe two hours. I don’t think I even made it to the high way. Someone must have called the cops on me for walking in the line, because it was softer on my bare feet and my flip flops caused blisters. My parents didn’t call the police, they expected me back home any minute. They didn’t even go look for me.
I told the police I ran away. If I had used a different wording, I probably wouldn’t have had a court date. I tried to put on a brave face when I got into the van, but I bet it looked like a smirk. My siblings were mad at me, and I don’t blame them. We went home, I went to bed.
The next day, my mom asked me to apologize to my dad. I did, and I asked for a hug. You have to remember, yesterday, I was still his favorite. He shrugged his shoulders, and we didn’t talk for a year and five months. Lived in the same house, and we didn’t say a word. I didn’t get Christmas or birthday anything those years, as he didn’t let my mom work.
I took walks around the trailer park, in between getting home and him leaving for work. It took 25 minutes to walk the full loop, and there were more than 25 Spanish men who would look at me during my walk. I was smile, wave, sometimes strut even, if you could call what Tyra Banks taught 13 year old me.
It was 2 weeks before I turned 14 that I met him. A Central American who lied about his age. I still don’t know how old he was/is. He took my virginity. My mom even let me spend the night at his trailer with his coworkers. It wasn’t long before that relationship became abusive. I was a troubled youth, looking for approval from an older man anywhere I could get it. She was a single parent to me in a two parent home. I don’t blame her. I blame myself, and I blame my father, and I blame that man who took advantage of me. I watched Law & Order SVU since before I was old enough to understand it. I knew better.
My first court date, my father brought print outs of the conversation I had with the internet predator. He wasn’t in the court room. A judge didn’t see them. But I call it child porn, as a child wrote herself in sexually explicit situations, and he was in possession of it. He left porn laying throughout the trailer, and I was inclined that way from an early age. That’s where I blame genetics. I had a good judge who gave me therapy, and I went on to make therapists cry, because I was angry, and I ran out of people to blow up at.
I had three more court dates for my explosions towards my mom and brother. On my last one, the final one, my dad drove us there, and he cried in the front seat, not facing me, but looking at me through the rear view mirror. Crocodile tears, and I believed him. He said that he was hurt, because it felt like I ran away from him. He wasn’t even there that night.
I was 13, 14,15, and I needed him. I needed my dad. My mom needed him to be a parent. I ran away for two whole hours, and a fair punishment is to be ostracized from my family for more than a year.
The judge asked me that day what was going to stop me from reoffending, and I told him that it was because I had my dad back. I cried then. If I could have an out of body experience and kick myself even today, I would have a deep purple bruise where my kidney is.
Two weeks or so later, I told my parents what the Central American was doing to me, where the bruises were coming from. My dad moved us out to the country soon after.
Before I started talking to my dad that time, our oldest half brother moved into our cramped trailer. It was a culture shock for him, but he didn’t work. He would eat all the bread and peanut butter. He was a jerk to me, but at that time, everyone but my mom and my youngest sister hated me anyway.
When we moved, I found the note the middle sister wrote to her best friend, about giving our half brother a blow job his first night with us. I immediately brought it to my parents. Nothing was done, and I didn’t do anything after that. I could have told a teacher, called CPS, or pretty much anything. Yet again, I don’t blame my mom. She was clouded. She got to see her child again after nearly two decades. What could she have done. But my father owed nothing to him. He didn’t stop him, or try to protect her. My brother and I would fine them topless together under blankets, and each time when we would say something to our parents, nothing. We could have done more, but my sister was convinced that they were in love. She created a fake Facebook account with her first name and his last name, and would talk about herself as a different person, as his girlfriend. I feel like I deserved what I got, I asked for it, I knew better. She didn’t. I could have done more to protect her.
He moved back to his family, and our other half brother doesn’t allow him near his children. I doubt he has been arrested yet, but predators don’t suddenly stop.
We moved out to the country, but the Central American found me. I saw his car drive by our house multiple times. I saw his car outside my school more than one.
Life went on. I started dating his boss when I was 15. They did landscaping. His boss was 39. My parents knew about it, about him, and my mom just asked for a cheeseburger when we came back from town. He was a nice guy. He and I never had sex, we kissed once, but we mostly held hands. He took me out for fancy dinners and shopping trips. He stopped drinking for me. He gave my dad money out of the kindness of his heart. Again, I was troubled. I was cheating on him with a boy closer to my age. The two of them actually lived next to each other in our old trailer park. Don’t I suck? He was a good guy too. Worked two jobs while making good grades in high school, well behaved, and he didn’t drink or have sex until he met me.
I still do not blame my mom. I was going to do what I wanted anyway, but at least this way she knew who I was with, had his number, and knew where I would be.
When my dad asked me to chose one, I told him that didn’t really care for either of them, and that I was just going to tell them both that I was a lesbian. He laughed his butt off. When he went to tell his coworkers, they attacked him. How could you let your 15 year old daughter date a 39 year old man?!?! He hyperventilated. I think it was the next night when I came home from a date with the boy, that man dropped by and he told him that I was cheating on him. He cried and asked for a goodbye kiss. I said no, and the last I saw him, his eyes were yellow again. After the boy proposed to 15 year old me on my great grandpa’s birthday, right in front of all my family, I broke up with him. I lied and told him that I was still cheating on him. Then I told him that if he was going to cry, to turn around.
I started smoking marijuana, taking a few pills, and drinking with my friends’ mom. My mom would let me spend the night over there. They lived across the street from the Central American. He apologized. He tried to get back together with me, but by that time, I was taller than him, so I didn’t want to.
When I got a job at McDonalds, there the Central American was. He was always in the background it seemed like. When he handed money, or I handed change, he would hold onto my hand, and I would have to cry in the bathroom. I’d didn’t tell my managers, but I told my dad, and he made me quit.
He and I stopped talking and started talking three more times, each time for months. I could no longer respect him as a parent, so whenever we were speaking, we spoke as friends. I got to hear all of his drug and sex stories, and I told him mine. I started smoking cigarettes and I worked at a steakhouse. We got paid opposite weeks, so when he needed cigarettes I would give him money, and when I needed cigarettes he would buy them for me. A true father daughter relationship.
I still made good grades, even with my drugs and alcohol, even with my home life, even while working 5 nights a weeks. I did good at my job too.
Then my gallbladder failed, and I didn’t go to school for like two months my senior year. All I wanted was my dad then. It took a while to kick those pills those. I was still in the top ten of my grade, but I wasn’t in the top two anymore, so what did I care. I already had several colleges lined up, and high school was stupid anyway. Camo wearing rednecks. I had a destiny. I had trials and tribulations at my back. I had greatness before me. They had small town minds, and I was on world level.
Haha haha. I’m not as smart as I think I am. I went out of state for college, when I had a full ride on the other side of the state. I would have still been away from my family and the toxicity that we caused each other, while having my education, room, and board all paid for. I could have been someone more by now.
Money fell through. I didn’t attend after one semester, because at age 18, I wasn’t old enough to apply for student loans. I met my now husband during that first semester. He is an older Spanish man, and although that sounds like danger given my past, he has probably been the best thing for me. He has encouraged me deal with all of this.
He asked me to marry him, over and over again, until we got pregnant. Then I made him stop. I didn’t want him to be stuck with me just because we were pregnant. Then we had a miscarriage. This was nearly four years ago. He held me all night. He was weak when I needed him to be weak, and he was strong when I needed him to be strong. He still is. (When my father found out about the miscarriage, he said good. I haven’t spoken to him since, and he hasn’t reached out either. I have no room for him. If we were to speak again, we would just stop talking again. It gets boring.)
He started asking me to marry him again, like everyday in casual conversation. Whenever I said something that he agreed with or made him laugh, he asked me. I finally said yes, and he brought me to the courthouse that day. That day wound up being the day after our due date. I have now been married for nearly four years.
He helped me get a job at a behavioral health facility, and I found a passion. I want to do this work for the rest of my life.
I started talking to my family again. My middle sister had a baby, and it hurts, but I’ll be okay. My youngest sister is dating an older man, even older than my husband, and I have no room to talk. My dad got laid off from his job, and taking advantage of them for cigarette money. My mom is divorcing my dad, I saw her earlier this year with her new/old boyfriend. They seem perfect together, but he got her to the doctor, and they removed a mass from her intestines. Outlook looks good for her. She seems happier.
I quit my job, and my husband and some of my role models here are helping me to get an education to make a difference in behavioral health. But I am at home, an stuck in my head. I am trying to stay busy and do healthy things, and sometimes, laying out my world as it is gets it out of my head. I am not looking for advice or pity.

Tyra Banks is opening up about the “America’s Next Top Model” backlash.
ET caught up with the show’s longtime host via Zoom on Wednesday, where she addressed the controversial clips from earlier seasons that have recently resurfaced on social media.

One video, in particular, shows Banks asking cycle 6 winner Dani Evans, “Do you really think you can have a CoverGirl contract with a gap in your mouth? It’s not marketable.” In another clip, from cycle 13, Banks encourages the models to darken their skin tones for a photo shoot.
“Yes, I apologized for it. Because we put it out and even me just watching it after, I was like, ‘Oh, this ain’t right,’” Banks, 46, told ET’s Kevin Frazier of the latter clip. “We felt like our skin is beautiful, let’s paint the world our colour. And then when we saw it, we were like, ‘Oh no, this excuses other people to do this in a negative way.’”

“We realized that, and I went on my talk show and did an entire segment on what we did. What we did was wrong, and we apologized for it,” she continued. “But not everybody saw that. There’s a whole new generation of people that didn’t grow up with my show and didn’t see that.”
As for the clip where she calls out Evans, Banks admits to ET that when she looks back at that episode, “I cringe.”
“And I cringe through the eyes of today,” she added.
Banks also recently apologized for the “insensitivity” of past comments she made on the show via Twitter on May 8. “Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ‘ANTM’ moments and I agree with you,” she wrote. “Looking back, those were some really off choices. Appreciate your honest feedback and am sending so much love and virtual hugs.”

These days, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Banks is quarantining at home with her 4-year-old son, York, and her mother, Carolyn. The family exclusively gave ET a peek into what it’s like to watch TV with them on “Celebrity Watch Party”, which airs Thursdays on Fox.
“The one thing that is funny is that my mom is 71, but she’s, like, crushing on everybody that comes on TV,” Banks joked. “Like, ‘Ooh, Liam Neeson!’ I’m like, ‘Oh, Ma, he can get it.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, he can get it!’”
“But she is cussing me out on the daily… like, _cussing_ me out,” she added, of how their mother-daughter dynamic has changed since having to social distance. “[She’ll say], ‘Why’d you do it like that?’ or, ‘Your son’s head is all dry. I need to comb his hair.’”

2020.05.29 08:29 ulooksosexylisa Another Quarantine Re-Watch. Just some musings.

Long post ahead but hey, what else are you gonna do?
I completed a feat. I completed the entire series in a week. So, I’m about the same age as the actors (now) so I watched this in real time as it aired then subsequently 30 times after once it hit Netflix. This isn’t relevant for any reason other than I’m VERY familiar with everyone and also mildly pathetic. Also, I love this show. It’s delicious.
Well, yeah, that makes sense actually.

2020.05.09 12:18 patrickryan182 [MF] Modern Prodigal Daughter

Logline: A modern take On The Prodigal Son Parable, two daughters use their inheritance in dramatically different ways, what's going to happen to each of them?
A man has two twin daughters, Tyra and Julissa, both of whom he loves deeply. This man is named Cesar Santiago; he owns a chain of housekeeping crews that clean office buildings across the city. While he is the owner and operator of this housekeeping business, Cesar and his daughters lead a modest life, living in a two-bedroom house in the Bronx. Unknown to the daughters, Cesar saved his money with interest and other investment opportunities, and Cesar was able to give a gift to both his daughters on their 18th birthday. Each of them will receive one million dollars.
The daughters were shocked and amazed by the fact that their father was able to hide this from them, what an opportunity he had offered them. Julissa, who had aspirations to be a nurse, used a portion of the money to pay for nursing school, but after that, much of the time, she mostly kept the inheritance in accounts that would accrue interest. She decided to stay at home and support her father with the housekeeping business as he was growing older.
Tyra took her million dollars and upgraded her life significantly, partying with socialites, enjoying the New York City nightlife, and investing in upgrades for herself, like a nose job, Maserati, and penthouse apartment. Tyra used her money to fund a campaign to become an internet influencer, paying for ads that would funnel people to her site, paying writers to create content, and video experts to make her look good. Tyra, along with her socialite friends, succeeded in the short-term, they were influencers, making money for simply being rich.
It was the twin's 19th birthday, Julissa celebrated with her father at home, they both had hoped that Tyra would come, but she did not. Julissa was disappointed, as they had shared every birthday since they were born. Unable to sleep, Julissa decided to find Tyra that night, she figured she was at some club or dancing on some bar. Using social media as her detective tool, she followed Tyra's path of destruction, it seems, since it was her birthday, she used it as an excuse to drink heavily and party the night away.
Julissa finally caught up with Tyra at a club called Luxor, a very posh, upscale club, with an exclusive customer base. Tyra had just posted on social media that she was there four minutes ago. Julissa tries to get into the club, but does not have the cache to get beyond the bouncer, out of the corner of her eye, she catches Tyra just inside the club and tries to wave her over.
"Tyra!" Julissa says, waving furiously. Tyra and her upscale socialite friends make their way to the entrance of the club. Julissa is dressed in rags, compared to the fast fashion that Tyra and her friends adored, her hair is tattered, not professionally sculpted, and her makeup looks like something out of clown college, as opposed to the mysterious sheik look that Tyra and her friends pull off.
"Hey Tyra, this girl says she knows you," the bouncer says. Tyra looks at her sister, then back to her friends, who are giving some major side-eye. Maybe it was the continual drinking that night; maybe she was afraid to lose her status amongst her peer group, even perhaps she thought that her sister did not belong at the club, she responded,
"I don't know her. What do you think I shop at JCPenney?" Tyra says as she and her friends head back into the club. Julissa is stunned, turned away by her sister, Julissa returns to the Bronx, rejected and heartbroken.
Julissa continued to work for her father, eventually not giving much thought to Tyra, who carried on with her wild ways. However, soon, Cesar became ill, the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, and the medical bills started to accumulate. Julissa, couldn't stand by while her father struggled to pay his medical bills and started to use her inheritance to pay the bills herself.
It's funny how a million dollars can go fast when you're sick. Eventually, the doctors found the tumor that was making Cesar sick. The surgery was going to cost $500,000, that was more than Julissa had left in her bank account. She had no choice but to seek out Tyra and ask for money.
Julissa waited outside Tyra's posh Upper East Side apartment and pretended to run into her as she left one day.
"Tyra," Julissa said. Tyra turned around, feeling a little ashamed by how their last encounter ended,
"Oh, hey, really sorry about the Lux, sometimes I drink too much alcohol, and I act crazy," Tyra said.
"Whatever, I'm glad I caught you, Dad's sick, they found a tumor that's causing the problems, but the surgery is too expensive for me to pay alone," Julissa said.
"Oh no, will he be all right?" Tyra asked.
"Well, I mean, there are usually risks with surgery, but the doctors seem to think that if they remove the tumor, he'll be alright, he needs around $200,000 to pay for surgery, I don't have that much left," Julissa says. Tyra pauses, she gave the impression that she wanted to support her father, but it seemed like something was getting in the way.
"What's wrong ?" Julissa asked.
"I would pay, but right now my money is tied up in this edibles project, it's these candies that you take when you go to the club, laced with marijuana, it improves the experience of the club scene, it's a DJ Nitro product," Tyra said.
"So, you don't have any money to pay for this," Julissa said.
"Sorry, I just can't pull out now, we've just spent so much," Tyra says as she starts walking down the street, "Bye, love," Tyra says.
Julissa is furious; she works a hundred hours a week, nursing jobs during the day, housekeeping jobs at night, and even selling her blood on the weekends, and finally came up with the money to help her father with his surgery. She's exhausted, but her dad's going to live.
Cesar goes to surgery, the only person there is Julissa, Tyra didn't even bother to visit before or after the operation. The recovery was long and arduous; it was weeks before Cesar could walk on his own, and he needed the help of Julissa every step of the way; she had to clean up, cook his meals, and make sure he had enough exercise. All in all, it took Cesar six months to return to his old self.
The next year, there was a downturn in the economy, the stock market was in free-fall, businesses were struggling, and vast sums of wealth were lost. For Tyra, the edibles company, created by her DJ friend, went belly-up; it ended up being a black hole for money. Her work as an influencer finally collapsed, not allowing her to earn enough money to keep up with her lifestyle, and her constant clubbing and luxurious lifestyle used up the inheritance that her father had given her. Tyra had fallen into hard times, even considering getting a job, but with no experience and no college degree, she found it hard to find something that paid. Eventually, Tyra was evicted, her socialite friends would no longer pick up her calls, she couldn't even get into the clubs she used to frequent. Unemployed, broke, and on the verge of living on the streets, Tyra had no idea where to go, so she went home.
When Tyra arrives at the small Bronx house that she once called home, she still wears some of the high fashion, the remnants of her former trendy lifestyle, even though they're a little tattered at this point. She knocks on the door, and Cesar answers.
"Dad," Tyra says, before being cut off by Cesar, who wraps his arms around his daughter.
"You've come back, thank God, you've come back," Cesar says.
"I'm wondering if I could have a housekeeping job, I'll clean as many offices as you need," Tyra says.
"Nonsense, you're back! Don't worry about work; this is a cause for celebration, let's have a party!" Cesar says as he pulls his daughter into the living room. Cesar is preparing a big dinner; he's going to invite the entire family.
Julissa learns about the party and gets confused and upset. After all her dad's been through, why is he rolling out a red carpet for Tyra? It was only Julissa who helped when he was in need.
Julissa boycotts the party. About halfway through, Cesar notices that Julissa isn't there, and steps out to call her.
"Where are you? Why aren't you here to celebrate your sister?" Cesar asked.
"All these years, I've been here for you, you've had to pay medical bills, and I've paid them, you've needed help running the company, and I've helped you, you've never thrown a celebration for me, not once. But as soon as Tyra comes back, who squandered the inheritance you gave her, you celebrate her as the Queen of New York City?" Julissa says.
"We should all be happy, your sister was dead, but now she's alive again, she was lost, but now she is found."

2018.08.24 06:32 NorikaN ANSWER SNS Mentions Megathread

Here is where you should post all the SNS mentions BTS is sure to get from other celebrities on Twitter, Instagram, etc. when this album drops!
Important Note: The same rules as the English Press Coverage thread apply here. If someone like Obama tweets about BTS that tweet can have its own thread. (Come through this time, B.)
Important Note II: BTS' tweets should be posted like usual. They can have their own thread, but if a bunch of tweets are posted in quick succession, they should be compiled into one self-post compilation like so.

180824 Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin The boys from @BTS_twt just released their new album. Are you as excited as we are to hear the new songs from #LOVE_YOURSELF 結'Answer' live at the #MercedesBenzArena? Less than two months to go 180824 RIAA The final album of @bts_bighit’s #LoveYourself series, #LoveYourselfAnswer, comes out THIS WEEK #NewMusicFriday & features THREE Gold songs 📀📀📀 180824 Liam Payne Super proud of @BTS_twt I told my label about them a while ago it’s a pleasure to release the same time great music boys well done 🙏🏼 180824 Nicki Minaj Idol @BTS_twt Uh!!! What’s Good KOREA?! 180824 Mr Son 얼~쑤! Translation (lyrics from IDOL) 180824 Panda Express @BTS_twt is our IDOL showing people to LOVE_YOUR_SELF with their music! love_yourself_answer got us JUNGSHOOK 👀and mind blown! 🤯😍BTSARMY ANSWER 🐼x💜 180824 Miracle Whip The Tangy Idol has arrived. 180824 Ralphie Aversa #BTSARMY, here's the promo for @BTS_twt that the group's U.S. label sent to radio programmers/DJs. Title of the email: "#1 US SONG, #1 US ALBUM, #1 US TWITTER, 20M+ VIEWS IN 6 HRS BTS IS POP CULTURE" Really good campaign, IMHO, as they try to chart BTSIDOL at 🇺🇸📻. 180824 WorldMusicAwards #BTS' #IDOL Is the World's Most Viewed MV In Last 24 Hours! 🎞️💥🌎🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🔥👑 TOP 10 YOU TUBE RANK LAST 24 HRS 180824 WorldMusicAwards #BTS are top of the Global Digital Artist Rank!👏1⃣🌎🎵🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺💥👑 180824 WorldMusicAwards #BTS's brand new Single #IDOL is already N°1 on iTunes charts in nearly 60 countries including the US after sweeping All Major Realtime Charts in Korea! The bts.bighitofficial ARMY is about that work! Proud to have written Euphoria, I’m Fine and Answer: Love Myself. You guys are legends! 180824 DJSwivel As it should be. The three amigos #IDOL #EUPHORIA #IMFINE 180824 Jae-Ha Kim Journalist It's difficult to express what #IDOL sounds like. It's more of what it feels like: Home. The instrumental portion sounds like my childhood. The music is what my father played around our house; and this makes me think of him & Korea.🇰🇷 #보고싶다 @BTS_twt 180824 Jae-Ha Kim Journalist Grammys, are you ready? Because you can't ignore @BTS_twt now. Music fans: If you haven't already, be sure to also listen to the other version of #IDOL that features @NICKIMINAJ. It is on 🔥 BTS (방탄소년단) 'IDOL' Official M 180824 Jae-Ha Kim Journalist I'm talking about an actual nomination, but @BTS_twt is on the @GRAMMYMuseum's radar … They shouldn't be relegated to a fringe category. 2018.02.23 15:21 Iceblade02 [FLAVOUR] The Nobel Foundation

After many years of legal battles within the Nobel family after the death of Alfred Nobel the time is finally here for the will to be ratified. A part of Nobel's fortune and investments (including his part of the shares in Branobel and Bofors AB) amounting to a value of thirty-three million swedish krona. When the guests had assembled, mr. Nobels will was read aloud yet again.
I, the undersigned, Alfred Bernhard Nobel, do hereby, after mature deliberation, declare the following to be my last Will and Testament with respect to such property as may be left by me at the time of my death:
To my nephews, Hjalmar and Ludvig Nobel, the sons of my brother Robert Nobel, I bequeath the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Crowns each;
To my nephew Emanuel Nobel, the sum of Three Hundred Thousand, and to my niece Mina Nobel, One Hundred Thousand Crowns;
To my brother Robert Nobel's daughters, Ingeborg and Tyra, the sum of One Hundred Thousand Crowns each;
Miss Olga Boettger, at present staying with Mrs Brand, 10 Rue St Florentin, Paris, will receive One Hundred Thousand Francs;
Mrs Sofie Kapy von Kapivar, whose address is known to the Anglo-Oesterreichische Bank in Vienna, is hereby entitled to an annuity of 6000 Florins Ö.W. which is paid to her by the said Bank, and to this end I have deposited in this Bank the amount of 150,000 Fl. in Hungarian State Bonds;
Mr Alarik Liedbeck, presently living at 26 Sturegatan, Stockholm, will receive One Hundred Thousand Crowns;
Miss Elise Antun, presently living at 32 Rue de Lubeck, Paris, is entitled to an annuity of Two Thousand Five Hundred Francs. In addition, Forty Eight Thousand Francs owned by her are at present in my custody, and shall be refunded;
Mr Alfred Hammond, Waterford, Texas, U.S.A. will receive Ten Thousand Dollars;
The Misses Emy and Marie Winkelmann, Potsdamerstrasse, 51, Berlin, will receive Fifty Thousand Marks each;
Mrs Gaucher, 2 bis Boulevard du Viaduc, Nimes, France will receive One Hundred Thousand Francs;
My servants, Auguste Oswald and his wife Alphonse Tournand, employed in my laboratory at San Remo, will each receive an annuity of One Thousand Francs;
My former servant, Joseph Girardot, 5, Place St. Laurent, Châlons sur Saône, is entitled to an annuity of Five Hundred Francs, and my former gardener, Jean Lecof, at present with Mrs Desoutter, receveur Curaliste, Mesnil, Aubry pour Ecouen, S.& O., France, will receive an annuity of Three Hundred Francs;
Mr Georges Fehrenbach, 2, Rue Compiègne, Paris, is entitled to an annual pension of Five Thousand Francs from January 1, 1896 to January 1, 1899, when the said pension shall discontinue;
A sum of Twenty Thousand Crowns each, which has been placed in my custody, is the property of my brother's children, Hjalmar, Ludvig, Ingeborg and Tyra, and shall be repaid to them.
The whole of my remaining realizable estate shall be dealt with in the following way: the capital, invested in safe securities by my executors, shall constitute a fund, the interest on which shall be annually distributed in the form of prizes to those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit to mankind. The said interest shall be divided into five equal parts, which shall be apportioned as follows: one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery or invention within the field of physics; one part to the person who shall have made the most important chemical discovery or improvement; one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery within the domain of physiology or medicine; one part to the person who shall have produced in the field of literature the most outstanding work in an ideal direction; and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses. The prizes for physics and chemistry shall be awarded by the Swedish Academy of Sciences; that for physiological or medical work by the Caroline Institute in Stockholm; that for literature by the Academy in Stockholm, and that for champions of peace by a committee of five persons to be elected by the Norwegian Storting. It is my express wish that in awarding the prizes no consideration whatever shall be given to the nationality of the candidates, but that the most worthy shall receive the prize, whether he be a Scandinavian or not.
As Executors of my testamentary dispositions, I hereby appoint Mr Ragnar Sohlman, resident at Bofors, Värmland, and Mr Rudolf Lilljequist, 31 Malmskillnadsgatan, Stockholm, and at Bengtsfors near Uddevalla. To compensate for their pains and attention, I grant to Mr Ragnar Sohlman, who will presumably have to devote most time to this matter, One Hundred Thousand Crowns, and to Mr Rudolf Lilljequist, Fifty Thousand Crowns;
At the present time, my property consists in part of real estate in Paris and San Remo, and in part of securities deposited as follows: with The Union Bank of Scotland Ltd in Glasgow and London, Le Crédit Lyonnais, Comptoir National d'Escompte, and with Alphen Messin & Co. in Paris; with the stockbroker M.V. Peter of Banque Transatlantique, also in Paris; with Direction der Disconto Gesellschaft and Joseph Goldschmidt & Cie, Berlin; with the Russian Central Bank, and with Mr Emanuel Nobel in Petersburg; with Skandinaviska Kredit Aktiebolaget in Gothenburg and Stockholm, and in my strong-box at 59, Avenue Malakoff, Paris; further to this are accounts receivable, patents, patent fees or so-called royalties etc. in connection with which my Executors will find full information in my papers and books.
This Will and Testament is up to now the only one valid, and revokes all my previous testamentary dispositions, should any such exist after my death.
Finally, it is my express wish that following my death my veins shall be opened, and when this has been done and competent Doctors have confirmed clear signs of death, my remains shall be cremated in a so-called crematorium.
Paris, 27 November, 1895
Alfred Bernhard Nobel
An eery silence fell over the locale as the speaker finished, yet again putting the will away. "I myself am the Mr Sohlman mentioned in the will, and have since the death of mr. Nobel been working hard to put those words written and stated by him into reality.", the man paused for a moment. "I today announce the creation of the Nobel foundation, which will from now and onwards administer the fortune that he left behind to institute this prize."
He looked at one of the front tables for a moment, and made a little sign for those seated there to step up. He saw the royal family seated at their table further away, slightly elevated with an excellent view over what was happening. He then turned to the men that had just stepped up. He then turned to and shook hands with the first man in the row that had lined up. "Mr. Henrik Santesson will be the executive director of the foundation, managing the funds left behind by mr. Nobel and growing them to make sure that there will always be a Nobel Prize." he then continued with the next man, "Mr. Prime minister, you will be the chairman of the board, always looking to the future of the foundation, and making sure that the prize is awarded to those that deserve them.", then he walked over to the following three men, "I myself, as well as Mr. Forssell, Mr. Törneblad and Mr. Santesson will be members of the foundations board."
"Over the coming days, the institutions mentioned in the will shall elect their Nobel committees. Thank you for your attention, dinner will soon be served, and more will come during the evening.", Mr. Sohlman stepped down from the podium, and took a seat at the table. Hopefully, this foundation would last a long while.
Over the coming few hours, speakers from the different institutions came up and talked a little about their institutions, and what an honor it would be to host the prizes. They came up in the same order as in the will, with the Swedish Academy of Sciences speaking during the starters, followed by the Caroline Institute and the Stockholm Academy during the two main courses. The main courses were finished, and dessert was now served, along with the final speakers for the day, the Norwegians.

317465074 Cerulean Flash Some years, the Dawning comes faster than anyone expects. Another day of grey and cold. Emmerza had already cried twice this morning and the shop wasn't even open yet. She looks up past the three-day-old pears and pauses. Is that... - - WHOOSH! A white blur. The windows rattle. An apple falls to the floor with a thump. And the smile doesn't leave her face even after the fruit's all stocked. - - Mist-1 had been looking forward to the air show for months. The forecast said today was finally going to be clear. But since this morning, everything above the sketches on their locker is fog. They sigh. After missing last year's with their sickness, for this year's to be canceled... they look down. - - WHOOSH! Streaks of bronze and sapphire, just like the drawing crumpled in their hand. Their eyes light up and they hum to themselves. - - Amanda wipes her brow and grins as she banks left over Skorri Canal. The Tower will eventually find out that someone's flying a thousand feet below safe airspace. But she'll still be able to hear the cheers when she gets her reprimand.
317465075 A History of Starlight Before Tyra Karn settled in the Iron Temple, her second home was among the stars. ~ - - To you as well. There has been no greater Dawning than this. The dawning of a new age, whether we call it one or not. - - I hope it is not the dawn of a new Collapse. - - ~ - - We are so focused on the return of our Light that we have forgotten how that Light was obscured. We can celebrate the Light, yes, but we must not be blinded by it. - - ~ - - And I appreciate it, Effie, but the greatest gift one could give is to heed my words. Besides, I have no need of an ornament for my ship. My traveling days are past. - - ~ - - Give it to the one who now flies it. 2017.11.20 11:33 FeelMyOats ANTM - Where Are They Now? (Cycle 4)

Hi guys! Here are the girls from Cycle 4. From this cycle onward, I’ll be adding the 🔒 emoji just to let you guys know if their social medias are set to private (in case y’all wanna check them out).
Name: Brita Wald, née Petersons Placed: 14th Age: 38 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: 289 (@britawald) 🔒 Brita Petersons on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 In hard pursuit of a modeling career, Brita auditioned for and was selected as one of the 14 Finalists on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4. Although Brita is remarkably beautiful, the judges were concerned with her age (she was already 25 years old when she entered the competition) and weight (she weighed in at 138 lbs.). After the first photo shoot, she and Brandy Rusher landed in the bottom two during the judging session, and ultimately, the judges decided to keep Brandy and to send Brita home. She was the first girl eliminated from Cycle 4.
POST-TOP MODEL After she was eliminated, Brita received a modeling contract with Ford Models. Since then, she has gone on to model for magazines like Brentwood magazine, Surfers Magazine, The San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Los Angeles Times Magazine and California Apparel News Lingerie magazine, of which she was the cover. She also dazzled on the runway show of Eisbar and modeled for famous fashion designers Vince and Nanette Lepore, as well as brands such as Eisbar and Juicy Couture. In 2003, she enrolled at the California State Polytechnic University-Pomona for her Master’s Degree, where she majored in Sports Nutrition. Sometime after the show, she got married to Ryan Wald and together they have 2 sons: Lukas and Markus.
Brita has signed with Ford Models - Los Angeles and Vue Model Management. Not much else is known about her these days, aside from the fact that it looks like she has focused on her family.
Name: Sarah Dore, née Dankelman Placed: 13th Age: 34 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: N/A Sarah Dankleman on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 When she tried her luck in America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4, Sarah was complimented for her first photo shoot. However, runway coach J. Alexander came in during the third week to teach the girls how to walk properly, it was pretty clear that Sarah was the one who experienced the most difficulty. The way she walked was awkward and lacking in poise, and the judges were quick to jump at those flaws. The judges sent Sarah home after only three weeks, making her the second finalist to be eliminated.
POST-TOP MODEL Right after she was eliminated, Sarah expressed her shock and disbelief, saying that she felt she had much more potential than most of the other girls in the competition. She eventually recovered from her disappointment and went on to appear on Spike TV and in various fashion catalogues. She also spent one summer traveling and worked as a make-up artist for MAC cosmetics.
In Aug 2009, she married Eric Dore. Together, they have 4 beautiful daughters. Right now, she and her husband live in Skohegan, Maine. Sarah has not pursued modeling actively. I’m not entirely sure what she’s up to these days. All I know is that before living in Maine, she and her husband worked as bartenders in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Name: Brandy Rusher Placed: 12th Age: 33 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: 77 (@LavielleMonet) Instagram Followers: 2,453 (@brandyrusher) Brandy Rusher on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 When Brandy Rusher was a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4, she showed a lot of promise in the beginning, but as the weeks progressed, it became apparent to everyone that Brandy had a bit of an attitude problem. During the first photo shoot with noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker, Brandy’s impatience and complaints angered Nigel, which led the judges to place Brandy in the bottom two. She was spared from elimination, but the experience did not seem to affect Brandy that much, as she continued to act rudely towards the other girls in the group. After the third photo shoot, the frustrated Brandy verbally attacked her fellow Top Model finalist Tatiana Dante. Later on, Brandy was again placed in the bottom two, but this time around, the judges decided that they were fed up with her attitude, so they sent her packing. Brandy was the third contestant to be eliminated.
POST-TOP MODEL After appearing on the show, Brandy realized that even though she looked like a model, getting a job was a whole different story. However, Brandy’s experience on the show did awaken her to her flaws, and while she is still pursuing a career in modeling, she is also busy reinventing herself. Brandy has taken test shots, but has not been picked up by an agency.
Brandy graduated from Houston Community College in 2009, where she majored in Fashion Design. She was arrested in Houston for resisting arrest in 2010. Police knocked on her door to address complaints of loud music. She reportedly "pushed, shoved and cursed at" the responding officers and attempted to flee the scene. In 2016, she gave birth to her son, Cohen. In March 2017, she was involved in a shooting that put her in the ICU in critical condition (She’s fine now). Two people were killed in the incident. These days, she’s started her own braiding business, Braids w/ Phlava.
Name: Noelle Staggers Placed: 11th Age: 33 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: 9 (@noelle_staggers) Instagram Followers: N/A Noelle Staggers on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 During the fifth week, it was Noelle who first sounded the alarm about Michelle Deighton’s skin condition. She even called her mother to tell her about it. Later on, Michelle’s skin disease was treated and, while she was spared from the bottom two, Noelle found herself there with Lluvy Gomez. The judges felt that Noelle did not possess the look of a model, may it be in photographs or in person. Ultimately, the judges chose Lluvy over Noelle and immediately sent the latter home.
POST-TOP MODEL Since the show, Noelle has busy taking care of her son and is cultivating her rediscovered passion for music. She has taken some test shots since the show, but has not been signed with an agency. In 2013, she got engaged. Not much else I could find after that. Her facebook has either been abandoned or private, no instagram, and her twitter’s been abandoned after a few tweets.
Name: Lluvy Gomez Placed: 10th Age: 34 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 3 Twitter Followers: 859 (@lluvyg) Instagram Followers: 5,451 (@lluvy) Lluvy Gomez on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 Lluvy became one of the America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4‘s most infamous contestants when Tyra Banks evaluated one of her photos as “the worst photo in the history of America’s Next Top Model.” She did get a chance to redeem herself in an episode of The Tyra Banks Show when she was allowed to perform a do-over of the shoot. Tyra called her new photo “amazing”. However, the judges’ patience ran out with Lluvy after she again failed to maximize her unique beauty during the fifth photo shoot, where the girls were asked to project themselves under simulated harsh weather conditions. She was the fifth contestant to be eliminated.
POST-TOP MODEL Since appearing on the show, Lluvy has gone on to work under Passport Model Management, and has done modeling projects for JEM Sportswear and armoursansanguish.com. She graced the cover and done print work for Stork Magazine, Bride Nouveau Magazine, Mom’s Advice Magazine, Glam Couture Magazine, Friends & Fauxs: A Novel, Today's Bride San Francisco, No. 915 Cosmetics, Supermodels Unlimited, My Breast Friend, Spellbound Crowns, Betabrands, and Fashion Xchange Magazine. She has walked in runway shows such as Style in A Bottle Event and Donovan’s Fashion Show for Jason Christopher Peters. In 2007, she opened a coffee shop with her ex-husband.
Lluvy married Carl Gibbs in July 2006. While she was pregnant, Their first born son, Asher, was born in March 2007. The Expecting Models Agency gave her and her baby a modeling contract. She’s gave birth to her second child in July of 2010. Sometime after the birth of their second child, the couple split up. In 2013, she started seeing Mikael, her current boyfriend. She is currently signed to NYLO Model & Talent Agency, as well as SAG-AFTRA. She is currently a distributor at SeneGence International.
Name: Tiffany Richardson Placed: 8th/9th Age: 33 First Call Outs: 1 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: N/A Tiffany Richardson on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 Tiffany wanted to jumpstart her modeling career by joining Cycle 3 of America’s Next Top Model. However, she did not progress to the next stage of the competition. She was given a second chance and Tiffany found herself becoming a Finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4. At first, Tiffany tried her best to get along with the other girls, and she was able to establish a close relationship with Brandy. However, as the weeks progressed and the pressure mounted, Tiffany slipped back to her old self, aggressively attacking the other girls verbally. During the sixth week of the finals, Tiffany broke down after failing to read a teleprompter properly in one of the challenges. Tyra expressed her disappointment, and ultimately Tiffany, along with Rebecca Epley, were eliminated (the double elimination was the first in the show’s history). When Tyra saw that Tiffany seemed to be taking the elimination lightheartedly and with little concern, the supermodel judge exploded in anger, saying that the only person Tiffany can blame for her failure is herself.
POST-TOP MODEL Since appearing on the show, Tiffany has continued to find work as a model. She was in two music videos, one for Dre’s, “Naomi,” and the other for Urban Mystic’s, “I Refuse.” She has also appeared on the cover of Passion International hair magazine and done print work for MAMi Magazine, Strongarm Angels, MQTease Magazine, Veneno Swimwear, Platinum Strong, and Buzzfeed. When Tiffany’s contract with America’s Next Top Model expired, Tyra Banks was seen criticizing Tiffany again when the E! True Hollywood Story: America’s Next Top Model was aired on national television.
Tiffany and her husband Chad have a 14-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. She works a normal 9-to-5 job at a group home in Miami assisting people with mental disabilities. Today Richardson does occasionally find time to work with a local photographer, but modeling isn't something she's prioritizing. “I’ve been doing a couple of different photo shoots, and it’s like a learning process too,” she said happily, noting she has gone to some networking events. “And then I’m just getting my body fit … but I work, I live in the real world.” Source.
Name: Rebecca Epley Placed: 8th/9th Age: 35 First Call Outs: 1 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: 25 (@RebccaEpley) Instagram Followers: N/A Rebecca Epley on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 The aspiring model from Stillwater, Minnesota tried to establish herself by auditioning for America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 2. She was rejected, but her determination led her to try out again. Her second attempt was successful, and she became one of the 14 finalists of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4. Although her beauty is undeniable, the judges felt that she wasn’t progressing, and after six photo shoots and numerous challenges, she and Tiffany Richardson were asked to pack their bags immediately and head home. The news devastated Rebecca, as she clearly tried her best to deliver what the judges were looking for. Some may remember Rebecca because she passed out during judging, due to a health condition she’s had all her life.
POST-TOP MODEL Initially after the show, she was working under VNY Model Management, but decided to end her contract with the said modeling agency because she felt she wasn’t getting enough modeling jobs. In 2007, Rebecca appeared in the TV film Reality Revealed: Beauty and the Geek. In February of 2008, Rebecca and her husband had their first child, a son named Evan. Rebecca was once signed with 2 Management, a sub-agency of ID Model Management. Rebecca also appeared in a cycle 8 photo shoot, where the contestants had to recreate famous moments from past cycles of America’s Next Top Model.
Her jobs included modeling for Cosmopolitan Magazine and Tommy Hilfiger and doing fashion shows for Wal-Mart Clothing, Escada, Multi By Bree Spring and Renee Larc for Milan Spring/Summer. She has also done print work for Fashion by Rainn, Metro Magazine, Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation, Wild Harvest Food, Magnolia and Vine, Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel, Stillwater Gazette, Max & Me, Theme Collection, Evereve Clothing, The Good Bead Lotti Dotties Collection, Ribnick Fur & Leather, Coco + Carmen, and Ribnick Luxury Outerwear. She’s walked the runway for Nicole Romano’s Ready To Wear (Spring/Summer 2006), Renee Larc for Milan (Spring 2007), and Escada (Fall/Winter 2007). Rebecca is currently signed with Mercenary Models in Minnesota.
Name: Tatiana Dante Placed: 7th Age: 31 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: 698 (@tatidante) 🔒 Tatiana Dante on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 Like fellow Top Model finalist, Kahlen Rondot, Tatiana was quiet and soft-spoken during her stint at America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4. Her reserved personality did not always sit well with the more rambunctious girls in the group, but her talent in modeling pushed her all the way to the Top 6. Tatiana was able to deliver good and satisfactory photographs, but when she wasn’t able to do great during the “7 Deadly Sins” photo shoot, the judges decided that she would have to be the next to go home, making her the eighth to be eliminated.
POST-TOP MODEL After her appearance on the show, Tatiana moved to New York City in pursuit of bigger modeling jobs. She has had several photo shoots with different photographers, some of which were done in the nude. She has also appeared in Metro International NY and People Magazine’s Celebrity Baby Blog. Much of Tatiana’s print work was completed out of Hawaii.
In May 2008, Tatiana married Robert Evans. Sometime after, Tatiana and her husband welcomed their first child, a daughter, Tiavani Leialoha Dante-Evans. Tatiana currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia and is not with an agency.
Name: Michelle Deighton Placed: 6th Age: 32 (Going on 33 on Dec 8) First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: N/A Michelle Deighton on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 As a finalist on Cycle 4, Michelle greatly impressed the judges with her versatility and talent. While on the show, Michelle came down with a skin condition called impetigo, and her condition led the other girls to panic because they thought Michelle had a contagious, flesh-eating bacteria. Because the disease may be passed on to little children, Michelle had to do the fourth photo shoot with a doll instead of a real and very energetic child, making the other girls extremely envious. Michelle fell to the bottom two after the “7 Deadly Sins” photo shoot, and the following week was eliminated when her dull pictures from South Africa failed to excite the judges.
POST-TOP MODEL After her stint on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4, Michelle signed a modeling contract with both the Janice Dickinson’s Modeling Agency and M Models International. She also worked with Elate Wear and strutted her stuff on the runway for fashion shows like San Francisco Fashion Week Presents “Emerging Stars”, Antique Denim Spring/Summer 2006, Megan Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2006, and Elate “Celebrity” Fashion Show 2006. She also appeared on WWE Friday Night Smackdown, where she fought with Melina and was rescued by the Mexicools. The WWE has also offered her a development deal. She has modeled for Elate wear, Louche Clothing, Celebrity Baby Blog, Mommygoround.com, and has appeared in Life & Style Magazine. She has also appeared in movies such as also appears in the movie The Gospel According to Booze, Bullets, & Hot Pink Jesus. She also appeared in a Cycle 8 photo shoot where the contestants reenacted famous moments from past cycles of ANTM. In an interview with TMZ, Michelle said she has also worked at a daycare after the show. Currently, she is signed with Wilhelmina in New York.
In September of 2007, Michelle and then beau, Jon Dalton, of Survivor: Pearl Island fame, announced that they were expecting their first child. In October, Michelle also mentioned that she had signed on with Expecting Models – a pregnant modeling agency. On January 16, 2008, a little over a week ahead of schedule, Jon and Michelle welcomed Piper, their baby girl. The couple got married later in June. Reports show that the couple is no longer together, as Michelle felt she was married to a child. Michelle made news for getting involved in a “Smash N’ Dash” with Dalton’s not dead grandmother. The couple appeared together on The Celebrity Newlywed Game as well as *The Dr. Phil Show”.
Name: Christina Murphy Placed: 5th Age: 37 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: 43 (@christinantm) Instagram Followers: 260 (@christina_fashion) Christina Murphy IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 As a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4, her lack of personality were always being scrutinized by the judging panel. However, on the eighth week, she was able to win the interview challenge with hip-hop artist, Eve. She was the most prepared of all the girls. In addition to winning an exclusive interview on Entertainment Tonight, Christina’s mother was allowed to visit to the Top Model house. Unfortunately, Christina was eliminated two weeks later, when the judges felt her performance was still lacking in emotion.
POST-TOP MODEL Since the show, Christina has participated in runway projects for Kelly Nashimoto Fall 2006 and San Francisco Fashion Week Presents “Emerging Stars.” She has also done print work for Kippie’s Footwear and Candice Held Clothing. Christina has worked with both LA Models and Passport Models. Not sure what she’s up to these days. Instagram is her most active social media platform, but it doesn’t show much into her life outside of her hobbies.
  Name: Brittany Brower Placed: 4th (Cycle 4)/14th (Cycle 17) Age: 35 First Call Outs: 2 (Cycle 4)/0 (Cycle 17) Bottom 2: 2 (Cycle 4)/1 (Cycle 17) Twitter Followers: 10.3k (@brittanybrower) Instagram Followers: 15.8k (@brittanybrower) Brittany Brower IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 As a finalist in Cycle 4, Brittany was the most vivacious. Her strong personality sometimes clashed with fellow Top Model finalist Tiffany Richardson, with whom she had a confrontation. Her performances in the earlier challenges were not so impressive, having landed in the bottom two after her second batch of photos shoot came out a little bit too sexual. She bounced back the following week by producing a beautiful Sagittarius picture. From there, she continued to perform much more strongly, even coming out with the best picture from the fifth photo shoot. The end came for Brittany after a fight with fellow Top Model finalist, Keenyah Hill, broke her high spirits. The judges quickly noticed the change in her behavior, and they eventually eliminated Brittany from the show.
ANTM CYCLE 17 In 2011, Brittany was invited back to participate in the All Star Cycle of the show. Despite being around 6-7 years since she last appeared on Top Model, it looked like she hadn’t changed much in terms of her attitude and personality. She was still the same fun loving, wild, party girl that people knew from Cycle 4. She was the first model eliminated from the competition because when polled, the fans said that she was not memorable compared to the other contestants (I’m still calling bull on that because there’s no way in hell Brittany was ever forgettable).
POST-TOP MODEL Brittany has gone on to make a mark not just in the fashion industry, but in the entertainment industry as well. She appeared on some episodes of The Bravo Network’s Battle of the Network Reality Stars and was given a guest role on the television series, Love Inc. She’s done print work for Suspect (Fall 2006), Supermodels Unlimited, Next Level Apparel, and Svedka Vodka. She returned on the runway for San Francisco Fashion Week, Meghan Spring 2006, Frederick’s of Hollywood Spring 2006, ElleGirl Presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models 2005 and Jlo. She was also hailed as one of Maxim Magazine’s Hottest Women of Reality TV.
During the All Star cycle, Brittany revealed that after the show, she started a medical spa type thing in CA, called DMH Aesthetics. After the show, she started her own agency. She has also switched to two other modeling agencies, Next Model Management and Reel Management. She is currently signed to TNG Models. She got married in June 2016.
Name: Keenyah Hill Placed: 3rd Age: 32 First Call Outs: 2 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: 2,057 (@KeenyahHill) Instagram Followers: 14.9k (@keenyah.hill) Keenyah Hill IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 As a finalist on Cycle 4, Keenyah was likened to supermodel Iman when the judges looked at her photos for the floral service 1-800 Flowers. She sometimes got into little arguments with some of the other girls on the show, but the most memorable confrontation that involved Keenyah took place on the girls’ ride back to their hotel after visiting Nelson Mandela’s prison cell. Keenyah’s fellow Top Model finalist Brittany Brower got so tired of hearing Keenyah’s hypocrisy regarding the South African president that she started reprimanding Keenyah verbally. One of their South African shoots required the girls to embody different kinds of animals. Keenyah was assigned to do the elephant, and it seemed rather appropriate, as her sudden gain weight was the subject of the judges’ criticisms. Keenyah made it all the way to the top three, but was eliminated shortly thereafter because the judges felt she was becoming too arrogant.
POST-TOP MODEL Since the show, Keenyah has appeared in Us Weeky, Vibe Magazine, Complex Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Ebony Magazine, Radar Magazine, XI Magazine, Linger Magazine, Hype Hair Magazine, Bleu Magazine, and Boi Society Magazine. She has also modeled for Disney Bridal, Sheila Rashid, Beats by Dr. Dre, Nat + J, and Nvr Dye. Her runway projects include Alice and Olivia Fall 2006 and “Elle Girl Presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models. Like other ANTM alum, she has also branched out into acting. She has appeared on television series such as The Bold And The Beautiful, Half & Half, Truth Unspoken, and New Girl. Keenyah has been signed to I Model and Talent in New York. She is currently represented by Click Models Atl and SAG-AFTRA.
Name: Kahlen Rondot Placed: 2nd Age: 33 (Will turn 34 on Dec 19th) First Call Outs: 3 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: 1,029 (@KahlenRondot) Instagram Followers: 5,170 (@kahlenrondot) Kahlen Rondot IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 At the beginning of the competition, Kahlen’s lack of confidence sometimes got the best of her; however, she consistently produced excellent photographs; at the final judging panel, the judges noted that Kahlen had provided one of the best portfolios in all the previous cycles. The judges were most impressed with Kahlen’s portrayal of the Springbok, South Africa’s national animal, and when she portrayed Wrath during a shoot based on the 7 Deadly Sins. Kahlen made it to the final two, but the judges felt that Naima stole the runway show. Tyra compared Kahlen to a girl who “did good all semester and kinda failed her final exams,” and Naima to a girl who “did fair during the whole semester and ‘killed’ the final exams.”
POST-TOP MODEL Since the show Kahlen has appeared on numerous talk shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Tyra Banks Show. During an interview on the Tyra Banks show, she revealed that her friends sexually assaulted her when she was intoxicated at a party.
She has done print work for Vice Magazine, US Weekly’s Summer Hottest Trends with Naima Mora and Keenyah Hill, ElleGirl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models 2005 and its second installment where she walked for Alice and Olivia’s Fall 2006 to raise funds against breast cancer, spreads in Elle Girl for Ford Fusion and Samsung, Jay Manuel’s Manual Override Cosmetic line, Radar magazine’s America’s Ex Top Models and a campaign for Tulipa Collection by Vanessa Barantes with fellow alum Rebecca Epley. Although she was not the winner of her cycle, her promotional picture is used as the shadowed “top model” on the Germany’s Next Top Model’s logo. In July 2007, salacious images – allegedly of Kahlen – appeared on the Internet, but their provenance remains unknown.
Despite being considered a stand-out in her cycle, Kahlen struggled to get signed by a modeling agency, which many say is because of her resemblance to Carmen Kass. As of late, Kahlen is no longer modeling. She currently works as a bartender in New York City, and plans to someday open her own bar.
Name: Naima Catlett, nee Mora Placed: 1st Age: 33 First Call Outs: 2 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: 13.8k (@NaimaMora) Instagram Followers: 49.3k (@naimamora) Naima Mora IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 4 With her mohawk and introverted personality, Naima was originally thought to be a long-shot to walk away with the title of America’s Next Top Model. Though her earlier photographs were not as strong as runner-up Kahlen Rondot, the judges were blown away by Naima’s final performance on the catwalk. Tyra, in particular, felt that Kahlen was “the girl who did excellent during the semester and kind of failed the final exam,” while Naima was “the girl who did fair during the semester but killed her final exam.” Her win consisted of a fashion spread in Elle, a contract with Ford Models and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics. She holds the record of being the first and only Top Model contestant to be voted Covergirl of the Week from the start to the finish of the cycle. It was also revealed in a Top Model challenge, that Naima is a vegetarian.
POST-TOP MODEL She has been seen on television as a guest on The Tyra Banks Show, on the second season premiere of Veronica Mars, and in a CoverGirl commercial with Yoanna House. Naima and Cycle 3’s Ann Markley were Trophy Girls at the 2005 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mora also served as a judge at the Miss Teen USA Pageant in 2005. Naima was a guest host at the Ramapo College Enerve Couture Fashion Show in Spring 2006.
Naima has done print modelling for CoverGirl, ELLE Magazine, Fuego Magazine, US Weekly Magazine, Radaar Magazine, IN Touch Magazine, Star Magazine, Teen People Magazine, Split Clothing, amd Jazz Album Samsung. Naima’s runway shows include Christopher Deane Spring 2006 Collection, Gharani Strok Fall 2005, Carlos Miele Fashion Show, Walmart and ELLEgirl Presents Dare To Be You Spring 2006, Fashion Comedy Style 2005 (Charity Event), and New York Fashion Week 2007. She has modelled with her sisters twice: with her sister, Ife, for iTunes and with her twin, Nia, for Cycle 2’s Camille McDonald’s lingerie line, Lingerwear. In 2007, she was on the cover of U&U magazine and Uzuri magazine and was photographed by Romer Pedrome and Derek Blanks. In 2008, she had a cover and editorial in Vicious magazine. Signed with 301 Model Management in Miami and Basic Model Management in New York City. She got a showcard for Fashion Week SS09 and walked in the Project Runway Finale for designer Joe Farris.
In 2006, she wrapped up filming on an independent film called Sarbanes-Oxley and made an appearance in a music video for TV on the Radio’s “Wolf Like Me.” Naima was the former vocalist for the unsigned band Chewing Pics. She is now a member of musical duo Galaxy on Tar. In May of 2010, they released two new singles via their label Lapdance Academy. The group is currently performing live throughout New York and touring the United States. In 2016, Naima hosted the show Twiin.

2017.11.13 10:12 FeelMyOats ANTM - Where Are They Now? (Cycle 3)

Hi guys! Here are the girls from Cycle 3. If you guys know any of the missing girls’ social media handles, please let me know so I can add it to this post!
Name: Magdalena Rivas Placed: 14th Age: 36/37 (Estimate only; birthday isn’t online) First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 0 (eliminated outside of panel) Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: 412 (@magdarivas) Magdalena Rivas on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 3 Joining America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 did not necessarily put Rivas’ modeling career into high gear as she was the first one eliminated from the 14 finalists. She did get a little taste of what professional models go through everyday when they were flown from New York to Jamaica to do their very first photo shoot. She was eliminated on the spot, the morning after the photo shoot.
POST-TOP MODEL Magdalena has kept a low profile since the show. She’s done some modeling work, but is not currently being represented by an agency. Magdalena has done print work for Vibe Magazine, ELLEGirl, and The Lab Uptown. She currently (according to her facebook) works for Children’s Health, a Nonprofit Organization based in Dallas, Texas. She has 2 beautiful girls, Nyla and Fiona.

ANTM CYCLE 3 Although it’s clear that Leah possesses the physical attributes of a model, she was the second to be cut on America’s Next Top Model on Cycle 3. Her removal from the show was brought upon by Leah’s plain and unimpressive photo shoot. The photographer remarked that Leah did not make eye contact with the camera and Tyra Banks commented that she did not position herself well in the pictures. After being eliminated, she walked away from the room without bidding the others farewell, but vowed to keep on pursuing her dream to become a professional model.
POST-TOP MODEL After appearing on the show, Leah appeared in FHM Magazine. Since then, she is now an advocate for the Roman Catholic Church and Catholic modeling, doing print work for publications for The St. Louis Review, The Catholic Weekly, Lighthouse Catholic Media, YFE.org, as well as the cover and a spread in Family Foundation Magazine. Some of Leah’s speeches cover topics such as modesty, chastity, the pro-life message (including the death penalty), “catholic” fashion, conversion from sin, and living your life for Christ.
Since the show, Leah has a regular podcast entitled Do Something Beautiful (now on it’s fourth season) where she regularly discusses a variety of topics. She has also come out with her own book, The Other Side of Beauty, based on the lies we are told about our worth being tied to our appearance and instead invites us to look again at the real meaning of beauty. She has also appeared in TV series such as The Journey Home and Beloved. In 2012, she married her boyfriend Ricky, who serves in the US Military. Leah has 3 beautiful children: Agnes (born 2013), Ambrose (born 2015), and Violet (born 2016). In May 2017, Leah graduated with Magna cum Laude honors with her Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute.

ANTM CYCLE 3 Julie seemed to have a promising start, but during the third photo shoot in America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3, her performance fell short of being excellent to the judges. Furthermore, at the panel, Julie admitted that the reason why she joined the show was to gain more exposure as a clothes designer rather than a model. The revelation ultimately led to her elimination.
POST-TOP MODEL Julie is another one of those girls has kept a low profile since the show. She doesn’t have a big online foot print, except for her twitter and her instagram. She has done print work for Republic of Brown, and has appeared the Ray Billion Look Book. Sometime after the show, she worked as a North American sales manager for the Thursday Island clothing line. She has also mentored models for The Model Experience. In July 2015 (I think), she married her boyfriend, Bill Clifford, in California.
Name: Kristi Grommet Placed: 11th Age: 31/32 (Estimate only; birthday isn’t online) First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: N/A Kristi Grommet on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 3 Kristi was memorable for coming into initial auditions wearing her senior prom dress, which was made from an American Flag. The fourth week in America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3 had the models posing for Lee Jeans ads with hair extensions braided into their hair. Kristi Grommet may have had the looks and the body, but her lack of confidence during the challenge was what made Tyra and her fellow judges cut Kristi from the competition.
POST-TOP MODEL After her stint on America’s Next Top Model, Kristi went on to model for In Touch Magazine, where she portrayed Miranda from the HBO series Sex and the City. She has done some test shots, but hasn’t really pursued modelling. In 2014, she directed a freshman/sophomore production of Arabian Nights. She is not currently represented by an agency. She doesn’t have a big footprint on the internet, since there was very little about her online. In 2006, her boyfriend Gunther proposed to her in Times Square in New York City. She currently has 2 sons and 1 daughter. Aside from that, not much is known about what she’s up to these days.

ANTM CYCLE 3 Her time on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3 didn’t last very long as she was the fourth contestant eliminated by the judges. During her short stay in the competition, Jennipher frequently had confrontations with Eva Pigford because of the latter’s attitude. She also did not mix well with Ann Markley, with whom she almost engaged in a fight. Part of the makeover that Jennipher received from the show was a haircut, which she did not enjoy, as she was even seen crying after the hairstylist gave her a shoulder-length hairstyle. The fifth challenge for the season was to pose with roller skates on for a Dooney & Bourke accessories ad. The photos that were taken of her did not impress the judges at all, cutting her journey to the top short.
POST-TOP MODEL Jennipher has done some print work, but is currently not represented by an agency. She had modeled for Magic Power Boats, Sex Symbol Jeans, Hot Boat, and Fiu Fiu. Sometime after the show, Jennipher became the food and beverage director of the SLS Beverly Hills. In 2012, Jennipher was the marketing manager at Andrea's in Las Vegas. On March 2016, Jennipher married Brian Urlacher, a former NFL linebacker. Their wedding was featured on the cover of Sports Entertainment Today. She is a step-mom to 3 children (from Brian’s former relationship): 2 daughters (Pam and Riley) and a son (Kennedy). Aside from this, not much is known regarding what else she does.

ANTM CYCLE 3 Kelle was sent to the bottom two with Ann Markley during the sixth week of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3. Although Tyra criticized them both for not bringing their great personalities into their pictures, the judges decided to take out Kelle, believing that she had less potential as a model. After being eliminated, Kelle remarked that she’ll try hard to build her career on her own, but did not seem overly optimistic. During the show, she won one challenge where the girls had to pose as mannequins in a La Perla store window.
POST-TOP MODEL After her appearance on the show, Kelle Jacob was in Source Magazine and had a cover of Eminence Magazine. Kelle has modeled for designers and brands such as College Fashionista. After the show, she attended Hunter College in NYC where she pursued her bachelor’s degree in media (with a minor in english). She has been featured in a series of documentaries about undecided voters in the 2008 presidential democrat primaries for the NY Times. She is currently not represented by an agency. She is currently a member of the Global Marketing and Millennial Innovation Team at Estée Lauder.

ANTM CYCLE 3 On America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3, it was revealed that Cassie was suffering from bulimia. Tyra offered to give her counseling, but she refused it, choosing to deal with the condition on her own. However, it was not Cassie’s condition that made her the sixth person to be eliminated from the competition. Rather it was the lack of “fierceness” in her photos and her apparent disinterest that drove the judges to send Cassie home.
POST-TOP MODEL Since the show, Cassie has graduated college in Oklahoma and has done some modeling work including a bridal shot. She was married in February of 2009.Not much else is known about Cassie after Top Model. She has no twitter, her instagram is private and most likely unused, and her fan page on facebook hasn’t been updated in years. Luckily, I found her husband’s facebook and it looks like the couple has 2 children, a boy and a girl.

ANTM CYCLE 3 For the ninth week of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3, the remaining girls, including Nicole, were flown to Tokyo in order to shoot a Japanese commercial for Campbell’s Soup. Although all the girls had a difficult time, most especially with learning their lines (which were in Japanese), it was Nicole whom the judges felt did not come through the commercial enough, thus making her the eight contestant to be sent home.
POST-TOP MODEL Some time after being eliminated from the show, Nicole decided to relocate to San Clemente, California. Nicole did not pursue modeling; instead, she has pursued acting. However, I haven’t found anything from her (acting or modeling wise). Her instagram, which is her most active social media platform, doesn’t show us much about her. Her feed has a lot of selfies, her dog, and some of her other interests. It seems she has moved back home to North Dakota. A quick LinkedIn search shows that she works as an Assistant Manager for The Buckle Inc. Previous job experiences post-ANTM show that she worked for Victoria’s Secret as a Visual Merchandising Manager and Sears as Assistant Manager - Softlines.

ANTM CYCLE 3 As a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3, Norelle was the only competitor among the fourteen girls who came into the competition with braces on her teeth. Her braces were removed as a part of her makeover for the show. Although her overall performance was impressive, her blunders in the Tokyo photo shoot and her difficulty walking on the runway were what compelled the judges to make Norelle the ninth contestant to be eliminated. Her photo shoot for T-Mobile went well, but was not well enough to keep her on the show for another week. During her stint on ANTM, Norelle won a make-up challenge featured during the show’s third episode.
POST-TOP MODEL Norelle was able to attain considerable success as a model after her appearance on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3. She received contracts from NOUS models and Dream Models in Asia, and working with these agencies were beneficial as she was able to book numerous advertisements. She has done print work for Sisters Magazine, Yes! Magazine, Sudden Weekly, and Goat Boutique. Norelle has also appeared on the TV show One on One. However, Norelle eventually decided to leave the fashion industry temporarily in order to pursue her education.
Sometime after the show, Norelle got married to Dave Griffith and now has 2 beautiful kids; 2 sons and a daughter. Not much is know about what happened to her after she left the industry.

ANTM CYCLE 3 Ann came close to making it to the Top 3 of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3, but was the tenth contestant eliminated from the show. During her stay in the competition, her athletic build prompted supermodel judge Janice Dickinson to bless her with the nickname, “Ann, The Man.” The judges finally gave in to Ann’s inability to produce strong and impressive photographs after the tenth photo shoot, despite Ann’s consistently strong performances on the runway.
POST-TOP MODEL After her appearance on the show, Ann became highly successful as a model in the fashion industry. Going by the name Annalaina Marks, she was able to get a contract from three divisions of Elite Model Management, one of which is in Milan.

ANTM CYCLE 3 During Cycle 3, the judges were amazed by her photos, especially the un-retouched beauty shot that she took during the third week of the competition. When she went on her go sees in Japan, she was told that she was too old by one of the designers. She participated in the finale along with winner Eva Pigford and Yaya Da Costa, but Amanda was eliminated when she and Eva were in the bottom 2. The judges had a difficult time deciding whom to send home, as all three contestants had strong CoverGirl photos, and all 3 were considered strong contenders, but in the end, it was Amanda. One of the judges, Janice Dickinson, was a dissenting voice on the judging panel, saying, “I love you!” to Swafford when she was eliminated.
POST-TOP MODEL Amanda has appeared on the covers of Felt It! Stitch It! Fabulous! Magazine, Bliss for Bride Magazine, and Access Magazine, and has modeled for Levi’s Jeans, Lacy Little Knits, The Austin Chronicle, Verve Magazine, ELLEmemoir, Shutterbug Magazine, Grove Arcade, Recyclone Designs, Royal Peasantry, Serenity + Scott 2013, The Beading Butterfly, Liz White Designs/Custom Couture, Serenity + Scott Spring 2015 collection, and WEBS.   ANTM CYCLE 3 Yaya DaCosta was a contestant on Cycle 3 of America’s Next Top Model, where she came in second to Eva Pigford. On the show, Yaya showed insecurity regarding her skin, as she was still experiencing breakouts past puberty. While on the show, Yaya won 5 straight challenges (The race up the flight of stairs, the Go-Sees, The Red Carpet interview, The Acting challenge, and The Tea Ceremony. On the eigth episode (“The Girl Who Is Panic-Stricken”), the models were asked to choose a hat as part of their judging test. Yaya chose the cowboy hat, which surprised everyone since Yaya was the model who was proud of her african heritage. When asked why she did not choose the African hat, she claimed that she does not want to be a cliché. She claimed that the hat was made of a very artificial, very cheap kente. During the ninth episode (“The Girls Meet Taye Diggs”), during the judging session, the girls were set a test in which they had to read a commercial and eat umeboshi. Yaya chose to spit her umeboshi almost immediately after putting it in her mouth, which the judges said came across as very disrespectful to the client (if this were to happen in the real world).

2017.11.08 12:06 FeelMyOats ANTM - Where Are They Now? (Cycle 2)

Hi guys! Here's my compilation of the models from Cycle 2. This time it was a bit harder since a number of them have gotten married and have used their husband's last name. Also, there is a 40k character limit that I didn't know about (sue me lol), so I can no longer include the links to the pictures. Most of the girls' portfolio mentioned below is available on all-antm.net.
Name: Anna Bradfield, née Capilli Placed: 12th Age: 38 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 1 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: 1306 (@annamariecapilli) Anna Bradfield on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 2 Anna appeared on the show as a plus-sized model on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 2, and was one of the 12 girls chosen to compete in the finals. During her brief stay in the show, her fellow Top Model finalist, Xiomara Frans, gave Anna the pet name “Momma” because of her maternal nature toward the girls. Anna was the first to be eliminated from the show after she refused to do the first photo shoot with Nigel Barker. The challenge was to pose as “Eve,” therefore requiring the girls to strip down. The girls would be posing alongside a male model (who is supposed to play “Adam”), whom would be naked as well. Even though each girl would be painted from head to toe, Anna felt that only her husband has the right to see her with no clothes, thus, she refused to do the nude photo shoot.
POST-TOP MODEL After Cycle 2, Anna has done print work for Erin London, Forshe Boutique, Robin Callender, Anthony R. Lloyd, The Cotrice Collection, Lila couture bridal gowns, La Bella Vie Boutique, Nicci Hou Afrique Collection, Ruffs & Cuffs, Belk, Salon Next, Bernhardt Huntington Collection Catalogue, Aveva Activewear, and has been featured on MyLittleSecretsOnline.com.
She has appeared in spreads for in the Spring 2011 issue of Hopelessly Romantic Magazine, Runway Magazine, the Oct/Nov 2011 issue of Oz Magazine, the March 2012 issue of Jezebel Magazine, and has appeared in ads for Fevour cosmetics, Goldilox Hair House, Bashinski Fine Gems & Jewelry, Cadieux Interiors: The Salon Collection, and Body Design Personal Training.
She is currently raising 2 boys. Aside from modeling, she is currently practicing as a registered dental hygienist. She was allegedly also featured in a few Tyler Perry films, but I’ve yet to come across any proof of these.

ANTM CYCLE 2 On Cycle 2, she was the most well-endowed model out of the ten girls, but her heavy chest was not the reason why Bethany was the second to go home from the show. Her photos were strong, but her performance in front of the camera didn’t impress the judges as the competition progressed. The judges felt that Bethany lacked the versatility that all models need in order to succeed in the fashion industry. Furthermore, she was criticized for not being able to look ‘high fashion’ enough in her photos.
POST-TOP MODEL After the show, Bethany has remained relatively mum. She was featured in Totally Texas Calendar, but that seems to be the end of her modeling career. Her facebook says that she was the former Event Director the Good Company Armadillo Palace in Houston, Texas from 2007 until 2016. The ANTM Cycle 2 wikipedia states that she was married, however, I believe that the relationship the page is referring MAY have ended. There are photos on her facebook which show that that she was recently married to Chris Jacob in 2016, and by the time this is posted, she must’ve given birth to their first child together (her facebook lists her as 7 months and 1 week pregnant as of September 2017). EDIT: Bethany has given birth to twin girls.

ANTM CYCLE 2 When Heather became a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 2, she was known for her upbeat personality and perky behavior. Even though she had such a likeable personality, Heather had a hard time becoming friends with the other girls and often felt like an outcast. Even though Heather maintained strong performance, she became the third contestant to be eliminated from the show. The judges really felt Heather looked too much like a teenager to have a professional career in the industry.
POST-TOP MODEL And I thought Bethany was off the grid. Heather was even more difficult to find on social media. It seems that she has abandoned modeling and is working as a full time Nurse. Since the show, she has gotten married and now goes by Heather McClure. Her husband, Jeff McClure, is a realtor in California. They have no children yet, however, they own a yorkshire who goes by the name Princess Fiona. Not much is known about Heather post-Top Model, though her last instagram update shows that she has had lash extensions.

ANTM CYCLE 2 Standing 5 feet, 7 inches, Jenascia was the shortest among the 12 Finalists in America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 2. For the first photo, Jenascia arrived three hours late because the other models did not wake her up when it was time to leave. She felt betrayed by all of them, especially by fellow Top Model finalist, April, whom she had helped the day before. She was not eliminated for being tardy, but was cut out off the show on the fourth week after failing to compensate for her lack of height.
POST-TOP MODEL After the show, Jenascia returned to her job at Hooters and gave birth to a child in 2007. She has appeared in a few Seattle calendars and taken some test shots. She appeared in the Feb 2009 issue of DList Magazine. In January of 2010, Jenascia appeared as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, where she won just under $50,000. In 2013, she was featured as a stylist in a BTS video of DList magazine shoot starring Cycle 23 winner, India Gants. In the same year, she also modeled for the Spring 2013 collection of the Rich Kids Brand. Nowadays, she works as an esthetician in SET, a Seattle based Waxing Salon, where she is known as The Vagine Queen of Seattle. She has also worked as a Fashion Director for DList Magazine from 2009 up until 2013. She married her boyfriend, Evan Lee Carter, in July 2017. She is also raising her child, TJ, from a previous relationship. She also has a cat named Tiiva and a dog named Bernice.
Name: Xiomara Cuber, née Frans Placed: 8th Age: 39 First Call Outs: 0 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: 209 (@xiomiofficial) Instagram Followers: N/A Xiomara Frans on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 2 As a finalist for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 2, Xiomara showed a lot of potential during the first few challenges in the show, but come the fifth week, was eliminated when her photos from the underwater photo shoot failed to impress the judges. Her walk was also criticized, having done so with her eyes unconventionally “bugging out.” Despite not being able to captivate the judges for a long time, her great personality and kindness won the hearts of the other girls in the finals.
POST-TOP MODEL After her stint on ANTM, Xiomara (who goes by the name Xiomi these days) signed with New York’s Boss Model Management and has modeled for the likes of Carmen Marc Valvo, Terani Couture, and has also appeared in the New York Post Latino Issue, the 5th issue of TDInk Magazine, Lucier Magazine, as well as grace the cover and pages in the May/Jun 2016 issue of STS Luxury Style Magazine. She has appeared in the 2017 horror film Terrifier and will appear in the film Rounded in 2018.
She chose to put a pause on her modeling career to focus on school. After obtaining her degree, the New Jersey native is currently pursuing her Masters’ Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and also works alongside her husband, Dr. Shain Cuber, one of NY/NJ’s busiest plastic surgeons. Xiomi has worked as an aesthetic and dermatologic nurse, and it was then that she realized that she wanted to concentrate on coaching women in order to achieve their best self from the inside out. She has a website, which focus on beauty, health, lifestyle, and wellness. “The website is based around me giving advice to women about different things. It incorporates both my clinical and beauty expertise; so you get the health tips and resources, as well as beauty tips, because I have the qualifications,” says Xiomara, “For me, it is important to be authentic because there are some others that claim to be health and beauty experts, but don’t really have the credentials. I’d like to be a resource for these women that wouldn’t go online and search for evidence based research articles, or have the time to read books on health, nutrition, beauty and wellness.”
Name: Catie Anderson Placed: 7th Age: 32 First Call Outs: 1 Bottom 2: 2 Twitter Followers: N/A Instagram Followers: N/A Catie Anderson on IMDB
ANTM CYCLE 2 As a finalist for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 2, many people thought that Catie would become the second winner of the show, but she ended up being the sixth contestant eliminated because she failed to produce a good black and white photograph. In addition, her emotional instability served as a hindrance to her growth.
POST-TOP MODEL Catie is another one of those girls who have kept a relatively low online profile since the show ended in 2004. After appearing on the show, Catie has gone on to walk the runway in fashion shows like Alan Del Rosario (2007), Louis Verdad (2004), and California Market Center’s Direction (Spring 2005), L.A. Bikini Show (2005), Yves Castaldi (2008), Alan Del Rosario’s Bow and Arrow (Fall 2008). She has graced the pages of Fugue, Edge Magazine, the October 2011 issue of American Vogue. She has modeled for Yves Castaldi, Two Ten Ten Five Clothing, Oggi Jeans, and BU Trends. She also played a minor character in The Bold and the Beautiful and guest-appeared on one episode of the series, Eve. Catie has been signed with New York Model Management (NYM2 division) and L.A. Models (runway division). She has also been represented by Robbyn Navatto Talent & Model Management.

ANTM CYCLE 2 As a finalist for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 2, she was the quiet girl of the group, occasionally seeing a goofy shine, but was dismissed seventh for being too sexy for the fashion industry. She was turned blonde in her makeover and only made it to the “Shake Ya Body” music video.
POST-TOP MODEL After cycle 2, signed with TBM Models, APM Models and Mensa Management, has done print work for L'Oréa, Converse, The New York Post, Pulse, Cosmopolitan, Supermodels Unlimited, King, Maxim, American Salon, Rachel Ray Magazine, DList Magazine, WhyNot Magazine, and Alize.   According to her facebook, she is now based in New York City currently signed to Elite Model Management in New York, as well as the SAG-AFTRA and Innovative Artists.   ANTM CYCLE 2 As a finalist on Cycle 2, Camille was not exactly well-liked by the other girls in the Top 12. Both Yoanna and Bethany confronted her because of her bad attitude, and even the judges grew increasingly tired of her arrogant behavior. Before she was eliminated from the show on the eighth week, she and Yoanna patched up their differences, but when Camille hinted to the judges about Yoanna’s eating disorder, Camille and Yoanna’s friendship quickly dissolved. Camille McDonald is known for the quote “This is my signature walk and this is what’s going to make me famous”, which she said during their go-sees in Milan. Camille was invited back in 2011 to participate in the All-Star cycle.
ANTM CYCLE 17 During All Stars, Camille got a weird edit. She was given the “Older Model” edit. Leading up to their elimination, when the girls would receive care packages from home, Camille’s mail was mostly bills. She was eliminated during the 4th week, after the Express photo shoot, due to a weak photo.
POST-TOP MODEL Camille later moved to Europe and signed with the prominent Modeling Agency Major Model Management (Milan), shooting editorials, signature walking down runways for designers such as Escada, Caroline Hedaya, Bikini Under The Bridge, Zam Barett, Victor Hou, Korto Momolu, Ice Blue, Byron Lars, and lingerie giant Wolfords of London to name a few.
After returning to the United States, Camille began working with Major Model Management (New York), where she continued to secure runway shows, print ads, billboard campaigns and magazine layouts ranging from Azure Denim to D-Squared as well as been a Fit-Model for Marithe Francois Girbaud. Camille has shot for publications such as Elemental Magazine, Smooth Magazine, Ocean Style, Glamour Magazine, Women Wear Daily (WWD), Juicy Magazine, Heed Magazine, Black Men Magazine, Skirt Magazine, and W Magazine. She also launched her own line of lingerie called Lingerwear, for which Naima Mora has modeled. Sometime after the show, she found Signature Walk Inc. In August 2014, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kennedy.

ANTM CYCLE 2 She quickly became one of the 12 Finalists, but during the fashion show on the first week, April accidentally wore the wrong dress. Jenascia, another Finalist, was quick to rescue her. However, the following day, April failed to wake Jenascia up for their first photo shoot, causing their relationship to sour for awhile. She was eliminated on the ninth week because the judges thought she was too robotic and self-critical.
POST-TOP MODEL Since appearing on the show, April has worked with NY Models Management and has modeled for New Look and the July 2004 edition of Stuff Magazine, MAMi. She has also appeared on the catwalk for Loungewear Betty for San Francisco Fashion Week 2004, ELLEGirl Presents: Olympus Fashion Week, Pnina Tornai (Spring 2009), ElleGirl Presents: Dare To Be You, Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models 2005.   ANTM CYCLE 2 As a finalist on the second season of the show, Shandi’s warm and kind personality gained the approval of not just her fellow finalists, but the viewers as well. She started off as one of the weakest models in the bunch, but gradually worked her way up to the Top 3. Her popularity intensified when she passed out due to her low blood sugar level during the third week. She is not without mistakes, however, as she slept with an Italian boy during a photo shoot in Milan. Shandi came clean to her boyfriend about her infidelity, but the guilt and emotional burden were enough to spoil her performance, and on the tenth week, she was eliminated from the competition.
POST-TOP MODEL Since appearing on the show, Shandi reportedly has gone back to working as a DJ in New York. Shandi was signed with Trump Model Management but has left the industry. She has taken test shots and done some print work. She appeared in the April 2007 issue of Cover Magazine with fellow cycle 2 model, April Wilkner. She has also been featured in Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation. In 2009, she appeared in a documentary called Best Worst Movie.
The Tyra Banks show held the first (and only) Fiercee Awards for moments from ANTM’s first nine seasons. Shandi was nominated for craziest phone call and ugliest cry but lost both. She later won the award for the Most Dramatic Change.

These days, she manages Kennaland, a hair salon based in Manhattan. She also worked as a DJ in the early 2000s (post-ANTM), but I don’t think she does so anymore. TBH there isn’t much on her instagram about her personal life (except her boyfriend).

2017.09.13 04:22 Awkward_King WHAT IF... SEASON 10 - WEEK 1 CHALLENGE (Queens of the Sky)

Get ready, it's a long one! No but I mean like really fucking long haha
A montage of all 11 winners flash on the screen, Ru’s ‘Champion’ plays in the background before showing a view of the werkroom as if you were entering as a contestant. All the winners pictures hung on the back wall, with one empty space, and Ru’s portrait glistening above them all.. Then a recorded Ru says ‘Bring back… My girls’ and it shoots back to a view of the werkroom door.
A giant queen is turning the corner, and a deep scream echoes through the werkroom walls...
“Anybody else hungry?” Lady Red bounds as she pulls a chicken wing out of her cleavage
She is dressed in a red sequined almost floor length gown with earings down to her nipples. She proceeds to wander around the werkroom a little rambling, before settling on sitting on the table rather than any of the chairs. Then before she knows it a second queen is strutting through the entrance in a jet black leather leotard with matching boots and jacket, complete with a black bob not unlike that of Catherine Zeta Jones in Chicago.
“L’Whor is in l’hous” Jessica exclaims! “No la whore is over here haagghaaaa” Lady Red replies!
The two go on to kiki a little about drag names and whatnot, getting along well and before they know it the third queen is walking in. She’s dressed in a black and turquoise catsuit and gold braids. She walks in surrounded by an air of confidence, delivering a prepared, but still very natural line.
“You bitches might as well go home, the winner just arrived. Ooo I guess you two didn't get the memo hahahhaaaa! I'm the Vixen” She stated jokingly with a hint of cockiness
They all exchanged pleasantries and the three get on well enough, but it’s clear The Vixen is already acting more competitively than the other two.
“I don’t know why she taking it so seriously, the competition hasn’t even started yet. Chill bitchh” Lady Red questions in her confessional.
Tension fills the air, and just as Jessica is about to clap back at a particularly cunty comment The Vixen made, the camera shoots back to the entrance as queen no. 4 walks into view styled in a simple knee length dress, but covered in frills.
“I'll do better than my momma I promise” It was Gina Belle!
“Who’s her momma?” Lady Red whispers to Jessica as Gina poses in front of the entranceway
“Hey bitches” Gina greets the other girls
“You're Sasha Belle's daughter right?” The Vixen asks
“Yesss I'm Gina Belle, like in vagina but lacking the vag” Gina replies
“Well girl let's hope you do last longer than your momma” Jessica snaps back.
Lady Red and The Vixen ‘ooooooh’ in synch before Jessica reminds them it’s ’just an observation’.
But before Gina could retort back they heard a stomping coming from behind the door, a big bitch came into view wearing a cocktail dress so colorful you just want to eat it!
“It's about time a big girl showed these bitches how to win” Nina West was in the building
“I thought that was why I was here?” Lady Red says under her breath and she is met by a snigger from Jessica
“Let’s both do it gurl! I'm Nina West!” She replies jokingly clearly having still heard her
The girls go on to greet each other, Nina cracking jokes left and right clearly hoping to make an impression on both the viewers and her fellow queens.
“She’s trying too hard” Jessica says in her confessional, “Jokes, jokes, jokes girl give it a rest. Then again they do say tell a hundred jokes and there might be a chance one of them is funny giggles
Just then the queens hear footsteps coming from the doorway and all turn round, in time to see the modelesque figure strutting through the doorway. Dressed to the nines in a chic pantsuit topped with a striking purple beret, Aquaria stood posing for the cameras. As predicted, everyone cheers!!
“I know I know it's not much of a surprise” Aquaria says
“Gurl this is the worst kept secret ever” The Vixen says as she runs up to hug her
“Haha hey boo” Aquaria replies, “Well it’s hard trying to cover your tracks when you’re one of the top queens in America” she adds jokingly
All the other queens start to greet Aquaria too and they gather back round the table, Aquaria taking a seat right in the middle. Following Vixen’s lead, they begin to share stories of cancelling gigs and getting off of social media
“I don’t know how you guys struggled so much, I just made a few calls and I was good to go”
“I don’t think that’s a good thing gurl” Lady Red says as the other queens burst out laughing. Jessica however seems to be annoyed by this and stops talking pointedly.
The next few entrances came thick and fast, Mayhem came in wearing a black bodycon gown, Amalara ran in yelling Puerto Rican words prompting much laughter and discussion between her and the queens, and Ariel wandered in blase-ly, dressed in a bubblegum pink leotard with matching hair and makeup. Discussion was beginning to die down by this point with queens going off in smaller groups to pick workstations and makeup counters. Aquaria and The Vixen had wandered off together, Lady Red and Mayhem were to the side chatting on their own about other LA girls they want to walk through the doors and Jessica was off on her own.
But it was then that they heard the next queen coming through the entrance, all the queens quickly gathered back round the main table just in time to see the queen stomp into view. It was Lucy Stoole wearing a bright purple wig with a pink bow and a pink frock.
“What can I say beards are in this season” Lucy calls as she turns to the other girls “Ohmygodddddd look at all you fags in dresses”! Her entrance is met by cheers and queens jumping up to come meet her, but none quicker than The Vixen! The two being Chicago friends, they got to kiki-ing quickly.
“I am so happy you’re here you crazy bitch” The Vixen called as they went to sit down at the table. “I’m so happy you’re here too it’s so nice having someone you know… you can beat” Lucy replied jokingly
The two kept bouncing back for a while not letting any other queens get a word in edgeways. “Well I’m used to being around attention whores” Ariel said in her confessional, “but damn girl, you’d think it was a two person show”. Just as other queens were beginning to get fed up of holding their tongue, the next queen arrived.
It was Terra Rhyzen, dressed in a raggedy colorful dress and makeup smudged for the gawds. Her entrance was met by applause and almost everyone got up to greet her. Almost everyone. Gina stayed seated. “Filler” she said in her confessional when asked why, “I’m not getting up to greet her. I’ll get up to say goodbye though”.
Terra, unaware that Jessica had even ignored her settled happily into conversation with Nina and Aquaria. But before they knew it, another queen was walking through the entrance. Dressed in a turquoise sleeveless suit and a stacked bun, Imp stood in front of the entranceway modelling for every contestant to see.
“Oh. My. Gag.” The Vixen said quietly.
Imp began strutting towards the table of queens, all of whom stood in awe. “Happy to see me?” She asked Lucy.
“Well I’m feeling all types of things” She replied. Then, in her confessional she adds “You see I’m happy she’s here, because we’re good friends and it’s good to have more friends in this competition. But she’s also good. Real good, and it worries me cos I’m here to fucking win”.
The two and The Vixen start chatting and explaining to the other girls how Chicago drag truly is themotherfuckingbomb.com.
“It’s just so different to the rest of the world, it’s like the new generation of club kids” The Vixen states. “And aren’t we the perfect example hahaha” Imp adds.
“Well... nowhere is as good as New York” Aquaria replies and is met with friendly eye rolls and laughs from the other queens.
“Did somebody call for New York?”
Aquaria turned around to the entrance, shocked at the perfect timing. There stood Monet, dressed in a tribal print knee length dress, and matching print makeup and heels. “Okay that was so fucking weird” Aquaria whispers to The Vixen and she silently agrees.
“Well hey girl” Mayhem gets up and is the first to run and greet her.
“Hey bitches” Monet replies and works her way round greeting everybody one by one. “Shit am I happy to see you here” she says to Aquaria.
“Same bitch” she replies, “It’s nice to have some more New York representation”!
“So I’m sitting back and watching” Nina says in her confessional “and I’m realising that this is gonna quickly become a battle of the cities. We got 2 LA girls, we got 2 New York girls and we got 3 Chicago girls. Boy am I glad I’m a country boy haha”
Girls slowly began to sit down again, but just as the last queen, Lady Red, sat her ass back down on her stool, another queen came walking through that entrance.
“Welcome to the circus”! It was Evah, sporting her signature clown look to the max. Rainbow hair, crazed makeup and a white jumpsuit with bright colorful dots. She immediately turned round to start greeting the queens.
“Hi, I’m Evah Destruction” she says for the 13th time, slightly unaware that all these queens knew who she was.
“Oh look, she’s a fucking clown again” Gina says in confessional. “For those of you at home who don’t know, this is Evah Destruction, apparently a professional clown. Don’t get me wrong, she’s talented, but bitch, WEAR SOMETHING ELSE. eyeroll
“Wait how many queens are there here?” Evah says sitting down, and all queens huddle up back round the table.
“1, 2, 3…. 13, 14” Lucy counts “Yeah this should be all”
“She dones already done had herseseses” Imp says muffled.
“Wait was that it?” Ariel asks.
“No you dumbfuck that was Imp” Aquaria answers and all other queens burst out laughing. Then all of a sudden, the sound of footsteps spill over into the werkroom, and moments later the 15th queen has entered. Cheddar stands tall and proud dressed in nothing but gold leaves spiralling around his body.
“I’m here to gender-fuck it up”. He stood still before turning around and walking with poise over to the rest of the cast. “What’s up bitches?”
“Oh she’s english” Terra pointed out “How lovely darling”
“Trust me we don’t all sound like Charlie Hides” Cheddar replied “And some of us can actually perform”.
“Oop bitch” Lady Red replied, but just as Cheddar was beginning to settle down, a familiar sound was hears
“Well there it is” Mayhem says as she gets up and walks over to the screen.
“15 queens” Evah adds as she and the other queens huddle round the screen. “Well this is gonna be a long ass season, hope y’all brought your looks. Well actually, I don’t”. The other queens chuckled. Then Ru’s started speaking from the screen, and they all stared up to the screen.
“Now, whether you’re a god amongst queens, or merely a shady, evil witch” (Jessica shoots a subtle look at Gina) “we’ve all made it through some rough storms. One piece of advice though: Keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and your competition even closer!”
The queens began to look confused at this cryptic message, Lucy even let out a barely audible “what on earth” but Ru quickly began again. “But that’s enough talking to you mere mortals, I have a job to do!” And with a flash of lightning Ru disappeared and the video ended
“Well that was… a ride” Monet says
“Any ideas what any of that meant?” Cheddar asked the group. A few queens opened their mouths to reply, but somebody else beat them to it.
“You know that has me stumped too!” unbenounced to the queens, Ru had entered and was walking down the stairs. “Oh and of course, Hello hello hello!”. The queens all cheered and applauded and gathered round Ru.
“Well look what we have here. The class of ‘18. And aren’t you a big group” The queens all looked between each other nervously. “Since it’s the 10th season, we thought we’d ‘up the ante’ and have 15 girls come and compete. And you, are the lucky 15, so whether you go home first, or at the top 4, just know you were picked out of thousands of applications, and feel proud about that”. The queens all cheered and applauded. “But that’s enough of that, we’re here to compete, and that. We. shall DO!”
And with that, we cut to the intro and commercials.
K nope no adverts.
Suddenly we’re no longer looking at the werkroom, instead it’s a camera set loking at a scene of what seems to be the sky. There are clouds, some light some dark, there’s rain, lightning and all sorts painted on the the background. In addition some clouds are 3D. Prop halos and horns are scattered around as well as many seemingly biblical props. Ru and Mike Ruiz stand there watching as the first queen walks in.
“What on earth is this?” Amalara questions while trying not to laugh at Ru as he pretends to model in the set
“Oh well dear, it’s not on earth” he replies. “Welcome Amalara. For the first challenge, you will have to pose in front of a set reminiscent of, I don’t know, perhaps where some gods may lie” Amalara looks confuddled. “Well lets stop talking, and get to photographing!” And with that, the first challenge began.
All 15 queens got dozens of photos taken but each had to be whittled down to just 1. Imp was very happy with her shoot, she took each halo and stacked them on her buns before modelling them perfectly. The Vixen started voguing leading to many good action shots in her photoshoot while Evah took the horns and completed her look in hers. The other notable one was Aquaria who channelled some of the top supermodels and even Ru seemed to be impressed.
“Well you all did a mighty fine job, but only one of you can be called the winner of this challenge” Ru said to all the girls back in the werkroom. “And that queen is… Imp!”
The girls all applauded and Imp grinned proudly. “I did well, I deserved it! My photo was pretty fucking good” Imp said rather matter-o-factly in her confessional, but it was clear she wasn’t trying to be cocky, just truthful.
While Aquaria was bitter in her confessional: “Now I don’t mean to quote Shannel, but I should’ve won that challenge. You look at her photo and she wasn’t even taking it seriously. You see mine and you think ‘Woah, how did Tyra Banks get 80 years younger and turn white?’”
“Remember girls that was just the mini challenge, we’re just getting started” Ru stated back in the werkroom “Oh Pit Crew”. The Pit Crew came out, as always, in their underwear, but in addition they were pushing a trolley. The trolley had 1, 2, 3, 4…. 15 items on it. Well what on earth could this mean?
“Ladies, for your main challenge, I want you to create a look inspired by your assigned Greek God” the girls all had different emotions, Imp, Amalara and Cheddar couldn’t have looked happier, but Lady Red, Nina and Gina on the other hand, all were looking down at the floor. “Now Imp, as the winner of this week’s mini challenge, you get to assign everyone their god”
“Well this should be fun!” Imp stated as she put her hands together like an evil villain, and the queens all laughed.
“You’ve just got to give each queen an object, because each one represents a different god or goddess. But first, one for yourself”! Ru told her
Imp cirlced round the cart looking at each object before finally selecting the miniture bottle of wine.
“You’ve picked Dionysus - The God of Wine” Ru told her
“Okayyyy werk” Imp replied grinning, clearly already thinking of ideas for garments.
“Now you must select an item for every other queen.” Ru said. And so she did, and each queens assigned Gods are:
Amalara - Ares (God of War)
Aquaria - Hephaestus (God of Fire)
Ariel - Aphrodite (God of Love)
Cheddar - Janus (God of Choices)
Evah - Hecate (God of Magic and Ghosts)
Gina - Poseidon (God of The Sea)
Imp - Dionysus (God of Wine)
Jessica - Nike (God of Victory)
Lady Red - Hypnos (God of Sleep)
Lucy - Iris (God of The Rainbow)
Mayhem - Athena (God of Wisdom)
Monet - Apollo (God of Music and Medicine)
Nina - Demeter (God of Agriculture)
Terra - Nemesis (God of Revenge)
The Vixen - Tyche (God of Good Luck)
“So now that you’re all ready to go, I think I should to! Gentlemen, start your engines And may the best women… WIN!” And the queens applauded and Ru left the room
“So what is your plan then? I know you can sew well” Lucy asked Imp as they looked over their materials
“Okay so I’m thinking of completely covering this bodice in corks, and having deep red fabric flowing down from it while some circles round and works as a sort of hood for me. It’s a working progress but I know for sure it will turn out fierce” Imp answered. “So what’s your plan?”
“Well I don’t sew a whole lot, but I can still make an outfit. I think I’m gonna be basic and make a rainbow gown, but I’ll do it so well that it won’t even matter”! Lucy replied
“Werrkkkkkkkk” Imp said and then they got to werk
“What should I do, what should I do?” Lady Red said to herself.
“You okay over there?” Gina asked, having heard Lady Red’s confusion.
“Not really. I don’t sew, I can hardly hot glue. I have no clue what to do” She replied
“Same girl!” Gina sympathised. “I’m thinking of making it look like the sea blending into the beach, but I don’t have the skillset to do that”
Lady Red laughed and added “well we’ll figure out something, we have to”.
And with that, you have the challenge. It is very long, but I wanted to squeeze in entrances, a mini challenge and a bit of the main challenge. Now onto some quick little things. When announcing this season I said I wanted to use the comments as votes too to encourage discussion. So if you comment, that will count as the equivalent of 3 normal votes. And also challenge people’s opinions (not in a mean way, just discuss) and just generally discuss the season. MAKE SURE YOU VOTE IN THE POLL AS WELL THOUGH OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK because I need to see which response it was and manually copy the vote again to make it count!
Now you probably are thinking ‘how on earth will I vote, I can’t remember any of the queens skills?’. Well you’re in luck, here is a sheet made by L017G and myself detailing each queen’s strengths and weaknesses. I also bolded the sewing column because that’s the one I would recommend basing your vote off of. Obviously don’t strictly stick to that, base it off who they’re playing in an acting challenge or what they’re assigned in a sewing challenge and whatnot, as well as other factors but it would be stupid to not use that at all and put a queen who can’t sew whatsoever above one who can. Y’know?
I think that’s enough text now, don’t you?
VOTE HERE ON MOBILE: http://www.polljunkie.com/poll/xtydrk/what-if-season-10-week-1-challenge-queens-of-the-sky
Please vote, even if you don’t read the whole post just take 30 seconds and make a vote, because you never know, it may keep your faves in for another week!
EDIT: Also posts will be every 2 days because I've got a lot of homework from school already and writing this script takes a lot of time haha, I don't get how some people are posting like 2 a day of amazing quality haha

2017.04.26 04:29 rukahs45 After 33 years of being in the closet and I was high last night on LSD and weed...

... and I couldn't sleep. Tossed and turned for hours in bed -- I had never felt such anxiety before. So I decided to write down a confession that I never thought I would be able to write. I'm sharing this with you because I need to get it out and I'm hoping that others can help me along the way. It's long, but I appreciate you reading. Thank you all.
Here it is:
I've known since I was in 5th grade but I always refused to believe it. I tried so hard to not be. I always wanted to live a normal life: get a girlfriend, then a wife, and then have kids, and then grow old with my perfect family. I've always wanted to have that life, so I denied to myself who I was over and over again. I tried to like girls, I did everything I could to be a normal guy: get into supermodels like Cindy Crawford or Tyra Banks, make out with girls, scope them out, all that stuff. But it never felt real. It always felt like I was putting on a show. However, constantly being bombarded by my parents and family members fantasizing and talking about my future wife and future kids (their future grandchildren) forced me to lie to myself about who I was. In fact, I was sure that I was going to "grow out of it" and just naturally start being straight as I got older.
As I grew older, the lie just became bigger and bigger and I couldn't stop it. I couldn't bear the thought of breaking my parents' hearts. To have them realize that they have a gay son or that they may not have grandchildren. I just couldn't handle breaking that to them, so I kept up the show.
In high school, I met my best friends, many of whom were Christian at the time. In finding Christ, I found a bit of hope. I can pray this away. As long as I'm a strong believer, God will show me the way because how could He make me gay? God knows I didn't choose this for myself, I've lived my whole life trying so hard to not be. Any spiritual high and temporary relief would only last for a moment, as it always ended up succumbing to the inevitable: that I'm still this way.
After becoming closer with my social group, I just kept it up because I felt that I would be shunned. Gay jokes were constantly being flung around and nobody else we knew was gay. I didn't want to lose my friends. So I just kept it up. Dated here and there, but I always felt awkward and out of place. When the guys talked about hot girls, I could easily agree (I mean, objective hotness is universal), but I was never into hot girls like they were. I never had the desire to kiss them or have sex with them, I just thought they were beautiful. The easy thing to do was to keep it up. I didn't want to be looked at as disgusting or immoral; I didn't want this to be the only thing people saw when they looked at me or the first thing that people thought about when my name was mentioned.
I didn't want this to be my identity.
In college, it was the same situation except with different people. I had the opportunity to hook up with multiple girls but I always backed out. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get it up and that it would be painfully embarrassing. I just played it off like I had too high of standards.
Even when I joined my company, surrounded by gay co-workers, I always envied the fact that they weren't lying to themselves or the world. They always seemed so happy and free, but I don't know why I couldn't do it. It was way too difficult for me to accept it. I couldn't even watch gay-themed movies or be around gay people because it made me so uncomfortable. I was asked a few times if I was gay and I always instinctively responded by being taken aback, when in reality, I always wanted to just tell the truth.
I constantly thought about committing suicide. Death would be so much easier: it may be painful for a moment but then I will feel nothing and I would die with everyone not really knowing the truth. My parents would be heartbroken from my death, but at least they wouldn't be heartbroken from having a gay son. I never came close but I did think about it quite often and that led to many sleepless nights and consistent episodes of depression.
With every passing birthday, holiday season, wedding of a good friend, baby born, I'm constantly reminded of the life that I could have had. The life that I've always wanted so desperately. I blamed myself all the time. Why couldn't I just be fucking normal? I kept convincing myself that maybe I could just force myself to marry some girl, have a kid, and just grit my teeth to make it work. Maybe having a child will make it all worth it in the end? So I dated some girls and when it came around to the 3rd or 4th or 5th date, I just couldn't look them in the eyes and betray them like that. So I always broke it off. Some of them I really cared about and they really cared about me, but that's why I felt I couldn't continue lying to them. After I broke it off, I always hated myself because I couldn't just suck it up and continue giving it a shot. I have to have at least one serious girlfriend in order to REALLY know, right? But when the situation arose again and again, my conscience always made me break it off. It got to the point where I would go on dating apps, match with cute girls, and then just ghost them. I didn't know what to say to them because I knew whatever I said was going to lead to me breaking it off eventually. I struggled with this for so long that I became numb to it. Each time I ghosted, I hated myself each time for being such a pussy.
I found my escape in drugs and alcohol and cigarettes. It allowed me to temporarily forget who I really was and just have fun with my friends. And then I would wake up the next morning and it would be the same sadness, the same feeling of not being normal.
I recently have been doing microdoses of LSD and since I began, i started not only realizing how amazing life and the world are, but that if I continue lying to myself and everyone around me, then I will live the rest of my life not being able to actually enjoy it. I'm 33 now and I'm almost 34. I've never been in a serious relationship. I have no idea what romantic love is like. People already constantly tell me how weird it is that I don't have a girlfriend. How much longer can I go before people end up assuming that I'm gay anyway? I'm sure many of my friends already do. I'm just so glad that I'm surrounded by incredible friends that I've known for most of my life, but even then, I'm afraid that telling them is going to change everything.
Telling my parents is going to be complete hell. I've lied to them throughout my whole life. Lying about girlfriends and potential girlfriends. Letting them believe that I'm just really picky. They're going to be heartbroken that they won't have a grandchild from me, that they won't be able to face their relatives and family and friends. I'm going to be a gossip topic across all my extended family and their community and I really don't want to put my parents through that. Family visits and holidays are going to be tough. I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle facing all of my relatives. I know I'm almost 34, but I've lived my life with them seeing me as the perfect son. I don't want to break it to them that I'm not the son they thought or hoped I was. I just want them to be happy, to be proud of me, to not be ashamed to call me their son. I would give anything for that, but I'm not sure if that will be possible.
In the past few years, I've been on a relentless journey to heal this deep-rooted sadness and pain inside. I've tried self-help books and videos, meditation, psychedelics, dieting, everything. Any happiness I gained would be instantly fleeting. I always knew exactly what it was but I couldn't allow myself to say it because once I said it out loud or put it down in writing, then it would instantly make it real. My family always said how I was the happiest and most confident child but that when I entered middle school, I became less energetic and happy. They brushed it off as my personality just changing with age -- a natural progression of adolescence -- but the truth was that I was struggling with my identity and being confused. I didn't want to be this person, so I always carried it with me deep down inside, like a horrible cancer that was slowly metastasizing throughout my life, my spirit, and my happiness. I was ready to accept the brutal and painful fact that I will never be happy and that I will just have to live out the rest of my life in hiding.
I can't lie anymore. My mind, my sanity, I just can't take it anymore. I just want to live my life with truth and integrity, and I'm ready to accept whatever consequences stem from accepting that. I sincerely hope that my family and my friends will accept me and treat me no differently than they always have. I hope they can forgive me for all of the lies over the years -- I'm so damn sorry. I love my family and all of my friends so much, and I don't want anything to change. I've always been exactly the way I am today, but the only difference is that I'm no longer lying.
